You need a new mount from Renault. It comes as a whole, with the metal bracket and just bolts on. While your at it change the centre exhaust mount too.(not my pic but this is what it shouldnt look like).
Rear bracket 7700424339 £17.35 plus vat
Centre mount 7700424341 £6.50 plus vat
Ive modified the two standard feeds with 70mm piping to behing the grilles. See my guide in the guides section.
PS the 172mk1 doesnt have an acoustic valve.

You have to take the bumper off on a 172mk1 or at least loosen the bumper, but on a normal mk2ph1 you can just unclip the lower grille to access the 2 lower bolts.
Yeah ask renault and see what they come up with. The rings just tap on the shafts. When the clios came out at first you couldnt buy the rings but now they have released some so you can buy seperatly. Especially since some of them have been found to split/crack. Heres an example, that may fit...

If your fitting 172 wings you will need a bumper to match, you will also need sideskirts to match too. You need to have the whole set for it to fit together.
