Check underneath the car make sure you inspect the exhaust system and the drive shaft gaitors. Also make sure the jacking points arnt bent.

We should make this a sticky on the forum somewhere, this problem keeps cropping up and people need to be aware of it. Welcome to CS by the way.

Yeah as above, or try rolling electrical tape around it. Its also a good idea to lubricate the handle with wd40 or similar.

Are they flame red? I would have had the rear if you were selling seperatly.

Not that much on the d7f engine, iirc renault do a repair kit with new head bolts for about £45. How many miles have you done out of interest? Ive heard of these going on this engine before around 130-140k miles.

Im no expert but Im sure the alpine ones are fitted in the factory and the vdo ones fitted as extra by dealors. They both should work with any clio tape or cd player that has tuner list on it (buttons with 1-6). Mostly fitted from 1999 onwards.

Ive got mine aswel, havnt got round to buying a frame for it yet though.

Yeah they've been out for a while, another facelift to keep the clio 2 going for another year. If you ask me its the ugliest clio yet.

Yeah they had more options in France you could even have a electric sunroof on your RS. Ive seen a 172mk1 in Palma and it looks like they have better steering wheels too.

I think theres just 1 tensioner. The belt is £16 and the tensioner is about £47

Can on mine, you just buy the memory card with them on, around £30 iirc.

Your 17"s did look smart but you know it makes sense with the 182 wheels.

yup as above need to remove the upper grill and surround section. Then its 2 screws underneath and one on top.

Which 172 are we talking mk1 or mk2?

Is that including vat, aux belt, and tensioners? If so its worth the drive.
