russ, not quite sure what you mean by refresh?!
engine was out for inspection and to replace anything that i wasnt happy with!!
cost my £120 at renault as the decanter seal was leaking which is £70! :( (either that or its the rocker cover which is potentially even worse!!)
thanks for the...
No, its not an easy job to replace to rocker gasket! its very hard!
it shouldnt necessarily been done with the cambelt, but to change it now, you will need to have all the cam locking tools, so effectively back to a specialist!! :(
Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio! * Inc 197 Cup Cage Content*
well it just mean there was a turbo dump noise every time you refuel! lol
why put a breather though?! its already just fumes going down that pipe, nothing that needs to be filtered out!!
Black and yellow, Black and yellow, Black and yellow, Black and yellow,
painted and reassembled my engine today, was so happy with my efforts i thought it could have its own thread! :)
sounds like the lambda has given up!
and it may be the faulty lambda combined with the very rich cold map that the clios run that cause the problems (hence why its fine after a few mintes). if its not the lambda then you have no choice but to plug it into fault readers!
Strip it out properly! by far the best mod for your money!!
aircon,

AC,
ABS can all go from the engine bay
cup blower,

I did this when i was 18, thought it looked the muts nuts at the time,
taste has kinda changed somewhat since then though. still looks pretty smart though, try not to over do it on the blue lights, subtlety ftw!
Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio! * Inc 197 Cup Cage Content*

but who would pay for such a modification! just buy an a4 or 5series ffs!!
and LOL at collocation only!! ive always been tempted to collocate (though it now sounds very perverse!)
it depends what track youll be running!
1.2 shafts will fit into a JC5 or JB3 gearbox, but theyre hollow so may not be strong enough.
mechanically most of the renault engines are interchangable, its just the wiring that may cause issues.
however if you with to run the wider track, youll obvs...
