why does it matter if it is a sport or not, you spend money on the car so that you enjoy driving it more! it doesnt matter if that enjoyment comes from going fast through the twisties, or seeing...

Get the P engine in it and make it look a bit more standard imo,
set of turbines and normal coloured wing mirrors and you'd be doing alright imo, seems to be moving in the right direction,
Also if you're in the market for some parts to make it even better, ive got a whole garage full of parts...
a few mods are quite nice,
most mods are pretty horriffic!!
go through the non-sport appreciation thread and see how nice it could look before you go spending any majour dollar!

it is not possible to get those kind of gains from a single chip.
most of the time this cheap guff have terrible ignition advance rates which will lead to detting in your engine killing the headgasket.
if you want go get some gains, just get one of the...

I did mean that, bt as above, you technically need to use custom shocks that are slightly shorted from what I've been told.
However I've not really researched it so can't say for certain!!

MK2s have a wider front track by around 5mm than the clio williams, (which is 27mm wider than the clio valver track iirc)
mk2s also have a thicker anti-roll bar i think
the mk1s have 269mm front brakes compared to 280mm front brake on the mk2.
and the mk2s have shocks and springs rear beam...
