I have a Mk2 Phase 2 Clio DCI and the catch has broken. I can open it but not lock it open as a peice seems to have broken off!? Anyway, just wondered how hard it would be to replace the entire catch for a new item? Cheers, Dan

I discovered that the rear 1/4 bump strip was stuck on my car (all the fixings are broken). I didn't think anything of it and now i've colour coded the strip and want to stick it back on the car! Any recommendations as to what to use please?

Mine was wrong before I even got to the laquar / clearcoat. I guess autopaint.co.uk is the one to go for then? Anyone got an exact match of D44 from there?

Just put the final coat of paint on my door strips and they have come out very dark compared to the original paint. I know it fades but the difference is huge! Colour Code D44 (from halfords mixed range). Not only this it seems to be a darker shade of blue anyway! Question is - I used grey...

But diesel is oil is it not? What would cause that on start up then?

Sorry to sound like an idiot... but how do I check it and where is it located?

I've checked the glow plugs and the feed to the glow plugs which all appears to be fine. But from cold (first thing in morning) the car turns over for at least 5 seconds before firing and surrounds me with a ploom of blue smoke lol. After this it starts on the button no problems. Also the glow...

Sorry for the probably stupid question, but is this a glow plug? If so do I need to remove the plastic tube section before it comes out?

I've tried waiting for 30+ seconds but even then it still takes a while to start first thing. After that (when warm).... it fires up instantly. As said above it appears my coil/glow plug light is on (but very faint).

Is that with them in situe? or remove from car?

Yeap. Catch releases as it should (i can live the bonnet about 1inch) but cant pop it off the catch to release it completly.

Help! Just tried to open the bonnet for the first time on my new car and the catch releases but I cant get it off the catch. I've located the small handel under the bonnet but this does not help! Any ideas?? Dan
