Cant get the engine to start so im not sure - it turns over and nearly kicks in but just misses. It may be the fuel lines ill just need to check. There is definately compression in the engine coz when i try and start it , it certainly blows out the exhaust!!

So its best to check the fuel pump and cold start motor etc + the fuel lines yeh? I though i may just disconnect one of the hoses and crank the engine over to see if fuel quirts out - is that wise?

Got it earthed, got a new head so the valves are ok, it is sparking, got the garage who supplied the head to also supply the timing marks and then got a proffesional mechanic to fit the belts and the fuel supply seems fine coz when i try to start it a couple of times it cetainly reeks of fuel -...
