eventually got them out anyway, bodged a 'ratchet torq' with numerous sockets and connectors. thanks anyway all!

Tried that with mole grips, in the end the rubber handle on the torq key started moving instead of the bolt.

I moved it about half a turn and thought that was it. However it tightened back up and now wont budge. Coating it with WD40 seems to make no difference. Any ideas?

Ahh ok, will put that box back in then. I had no connectors whatsoever under the seats bud, none at all. Even after removing the seats from the car I couldnt find any.

Ended up cutting the wires and tagging them for later. Even with the seat out the car I still can't find the connection so I doubt I have one. Managed to get the service light AND the airbag light on thought so will see what renault have to say about that :blush:

here's whats under my seat; The grey connection pictured was attatched to the black 'box' which was bolted to the side of the car next to the seat. The black bit says airbag on it and the grey connection has two metal terminals where I assume my resistors go. (pictured below) But thats...

Well I've had mine around 8 months and they were 2nd hand when I got them, no problems as of yet. You put 6ks in your angel eyes? How were they to fit?

I see, I didn't know it was possible to use both at once. And yes, I think I'll be going for cheapish base mounted cobras, possibly cobra monacos. Would this then mean I would be able to adjust the height due to there being no side mounts?

So in theory, can I have height and slide adjustment from sub-frames, or would they have to be side mounted to allow height adjustment? Cheers.
