I imagine there similar to paradas which I've ran before and quite liked. Just fancied something abit more premium/all rounder this time.
Yeah read good reviews on the r1r's but overkill for roaduse no doubt and just shy of r888s.
Yeah considered toyo's, just fancied some PE3's but resent paying double what I'm used to paying for 15's (tight northerner).
Just looking at 195s on camskill and Rainsports are only £67. Heard good things about these. PE3s are also £91 for 195s.
Can anyone explain the speed ratings as...
Yeah PE3's are £126 fitted each on black circle and £117 (not fitted) on camskills. Is that the going rate? I'm used to cheapy 15" prices;)
Maybe should look at some 195 prices. Just fancied trying 205s
I'm currently in the market for 4 of the above tyres. Been running 15's but going back to 16's and finding tyres a little harder to source.
Anybody know of any good deals at the moment? I'm fancying PE2/3's but considering hankook, continental etc.
I have searched and found a costco deal on...
Just fitted new coilpack, plugs and ht leads.
Car now idles at 2k and won't rev. Have I fitted the ht leads incorrectly?
Can some one please let me know numbers 1,2,3,4 from N/S-O/S please.
Thanks
Following on from this; I've replaced the melted wire and original fault still persists.
The car is off the road atm as its undrivable like this. Today I have replaced the coilpack and still no better. I have new plugs to fit at the weekend.
I've checked the ecu plug/connector for...
Just had it on a snap on diagnostics and showed these faults:
285 fast fan control short circuit to ground.
285 fast fan control open circuit.
285 fast fan control.
So assuming a wiring fault. After a quick look in the engine bay I noticed the wire from the brake master cylinder to the ECU...
Thanks for the input mate. The symptoms are very similar to what you describe there. I'm gonna try and emilinate the injectors tomorrow then get it live diagnosed.
Normal bumpers back on Dean:cool:
Yeah I know Dean. Had it's 12k service there when I first got it. Just shy of £200 lol.
I'll drop that hammerite round for you this week. You can have a laugh at my car, I've put the standard suspension on whilst I sell my AST's (not a good look on 15's)
I've had my car plugged into an RStuner and these are the faults;
ECM rear 02 heater fault (memory)
ECM rear 02 heater fault on activation (present)
ECM electronic throttle control limit aquired (not a fault) (present)
I run a decat so only one lambda sensor. So I've replaced the lambda...
Some great photos in here boys, looks like a quality little drive out.
Gutted I missed this but I was away for the weekend. Hopefully they'll be something similar soon.
All cars looking good. Especially loving the Megane Kris. It looks gorgeous in the picture from the side.
I've just replaced a CV boot on mine. £20 for a boot kit from Renault (includes grease).
As above special tool for clips required. I used heavy duty cable ties.
Pretty straight forward to do once I sussed out how to seperate the CV joint (hammer);)
Yozza all the way. But I'm biased:approve:
After owning and helping fit various systems they are in a different league(fitment/sound/quality).
The flange joints are the way forward. And they sound pretty good!
Just had/have the same on mine atm mate. Mine turned out to be the ball joint knocking in the hub. The pinch bolt had let go and worn the hub.
Replace the ball joint first if its still knocking its new hub time.
Hi, I'm currently half way through changing my OS CV boot.
I can't see how I'm supposed to seperate the CV joint to remove the 'stub axle bit' to allow me to fit the new boot. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Also do I need specialist tools to put the new clips on or is...
Just to help anyone that may be experiencing similar symptoms.
This turned out to be my lambda sensor. I had only screwed it in finger tight when refitting my decat. Very embarassed but relieved.
I've had to replace the lambda as its damaged it knocking about on the threads.:o
