Very spluttery/feels like its going to cut out and engine light on.

Been down to York today for a bit of 1/4 miling. My car was a bit sputtery/choked on the way down but put it down to being cold. Once warmed up everything was fine.

Got a few runs in then queing up to go back down it was really spluttery and felt like it was going to cut out. Very flat when reved and the engine light came on.

I retired and drove it home and it seems fine now but the lights obviously still on.

I'm thinking coilpack,plugs leads etc.

Is it best to get it plugged into a computer and diagnosed or does this sound to anyone like a specific thing?

Thanks

Just get it plugged in matey, could be a few things so people can only take a guess at it. See if anyone near you with a RS Tuner is kind enough to plug it in for ya

Just to help anyone that may be experiencing similar symptoms.

This turned out to be my lambda sensor. I had only screwed it in finger tight when refitting my decat. Very embarassed but relieved.

I've had to replace the lambda as its damaged it knocking about on the threads.
