Anyhow back on topic now, CC is it HB3's for the head lights?? ie not side or main!
Also with the FK's you getting adj damps? Sorry to lazy to type full words :p
Atm its perfect as im missing the passenger fog light, due to putting the car in a ditch! :(
Yeah looking at getting new bulbs, anyone know wether their H3 or H4 for the headlights. Gunna get silvervisions too.
BTW CC, where you getting the FK's from as heard john from 2modified does em...
LOL
Meshing aint an option. Also the rad covers nearly all the bloddy bumper, so looking at fog then :/
I like my fogs :( As have to use em as normal lights since my headlights are as good as candles :/
Right I wanna sort the cold air feed on my 172. As of the moment, I am runing a BMC off a Hill power bend. Using the standard CAF with the BMC is a nightmare. I shortened the bend to have more room for the CAF to bend, but since the pipe is short and bloddy wide, I have it running down pointing...
CC....You are my Inspiration :o
Loving what your doing with the Mk1, Once I get mine repaired in the new year, looking at coilovers, whats the specs on the FK's also price! What saying last night at the Bluey meet about spraying my turini's in Gunmetal.....Stop mind reading :p
Cheers for the help guys. using that Powerbulbs site. For the Clio is states 2 bulbs for headlights: Low Beam (h4) and High Beam (9005), I take it low beams are the standard head lights and high are main beam?? If so any recomendations on bulbs??

Also my headlights are absolutley dire. Light up sweet f.a. Any recomendations for aftermarkets one that will light up the road :p
I've had this, but it started ever since my battery went dead. Leaving sounds on while washing the car...never good. Thing is the car gets a 60mile trip every day, and have done this without the sounds on, given it a good charge, but I think the battery is shagged. Could leave the lights on for...
Basically bolted onto the horn below passenger light. I got it off by pealing back wheel lining and getting a socket in there on the bolt. Bit of a pain but saves having to get the bumper off :p
Well not the best turn out for my first meet :( But met a few nice people.
Turned up to find dubweiser sitting there all on is tod. After spending some time looking at the clio's going by, wondering if any where here for the meet, a little ole cup pulled up, little newms with co pilot...
Lol been averaging around 42mpg :)
But that is 60miles a day in 5th not going above 3k revs :P
Nothing like getting 400+ miles from a tank in a 172. But I have times where I fill up and a tank lasts 280 miles :?
Above price is wrong, thats without bearings again. Anyone know if Renault will sell me one disc. Basically Uncle's firm the engineers are saying its v.easy to press the bearing in crooked :/ Any inputs guys? Dunno how long I can satnd this airplane noise!
Right need a disc or a set for my Mk1 172. Basically the bearing has gone on the left side I think, was going to get just the bearing and get it pressed in at my uncles firm, but there saying just easier to get discs. My dad managed to order one, but got the one without a bearing :( So need to...
Defo agree with the above, How I started too. Get a feel for a career and go from there.
And as far as I know, you shouldn't have to be on the beat to move on to Computer Crime. People where trying to tell me that I had to do 2 years on the beat before I could get a job in IT with the Police...
Tbh mate I don't notice the kick. All I know is that the car just loves to go :P And at the moment im too busy listening to the bloddy shot rear bearing that sounds like an airplane than feeling out for the kick. With the VVT can you hear a noise when it changes, cos my mate says you should be...
Ah that stuck in the rut feeling, we've all been there. Managed to get a job with the plod, so plenty of opportunity to move up (hopefully to Computer Crime, big $$$).
As far as courses go, with net config, look up on details on CCNA (Cisco course) or if your looking for novell then CNA...
Well I didn't do a course, but from my last job was able to pick up quite alot! Ended doing alot of cabling jobs for little projects (Outreach centres). It's not that hard. If your willing to learn, then should be easy. What parts of networking you looking into? Cabling or Network configuration?
Just adding to the thread. Mark (Brazo), top bloke. All round decent guy. All thou it was bitter cold we still kept going. In true words this man is a god (Mark, 40% of ur profits dude :p ). Car came out amazing. Shows what some polish and a bit of elbow grease can do. :)
