Think I have fixed the water leak ony 172, Just wondering if I am o.k filling it back up with just water for a quick blast to check its all o.k then draining and putting the coolant in.
Got visions of my new coolant just running down road :o
The new rad I have for my 172 has a threaded hole in one side which my origional does not. Sure I saw a post on here about it does anyone know the part number? Do Renault stock stuff like this ?

Good point well made did not know it was supposed to be first time I have been anywhere near the pipe only removed the rad maybe previous owner :o
