I went the other way 05 coupe to a 2000 172 although mine was not a turbo. Car would look good once that bonnet has been sorted and calipers done black not a fan of exhaust either but seen far worse.

Cant get mpg above 28 round town 32 on a run , Power was down however it has perked up since i put a new o2 sensor in last month that was why i was trying to see if anything was logged no lights though.

Been out for a run with Torque pro running on my Andriod phone all seems well but under fuel i get "o2 system closed loop" then its randomly going to "o2 system open loop low temp" :S Is this normal temp is running around 88c

After a drive in the 172 (usually only does short trips) of more than 20 mins i can smell the coolant more so when i park the car up and get out :S Everything seems fine , no leaks overheating etc ? Never noticed it before.

Have you not got a spare key you could try ? mine is a bit hit and miss with the spare

I thought cat collapsing but would prefer 02 sensor , MPG is crap on it too barely over 30 mpg driving it really steady the old phase 2 did loads better. If it was putting too much fuel in would that cause a noticeable power loss?
