Sorry to hear Chris still isn't feeling his best at the moment but I wish him a speedy recovery. While nobody wants to steal his thunder, it would be great for a "caretaker" to intervene until he's better. Just my POV.

New to me and still funny!

One of the main reasons I went for the D80. 50mm F1.8 is a great lens, cheap too at £80 from Jessops.

My ENTRY. Another "No hoper" but I'd thought I'd post it anyway. "Renault Sport" LOGO on the front seat back of the Twingo RS. Shot this with a 50mm and closeup #4 filter. Not very good but I did "rush" the shot.

Both images were taken in M mode using various combinations. These were the "BEST" two and I have also had a play with them both in "Bibble Lite" Free trial version. Maybe i just need to take them earlier or later in the day to avoid the harshness of the sun streaming throught the window?

Just a couple of shots I took in the showroom at work. Still getting to grips with the new D80. Found it hard to get the right balance in a brightly lit showroom with a south facing window at 1PM. Any tips on how to improve taking images when it's very bright would be welcome. I was using the...

Hi Billy The remote does work on Bulb setting. One press to open the shutter and press again after whatever time you desire to close it.

All are very good so far. Don't think i'll be able to get anywhere near the quality of these great shots! Still getting to grips with my new D80 and I don't think I have enough time left to try and get a good shot in :( . Good luck to all those that have entered:D .

Now I know these shots were hand held, they are even more impressive and your timing is impeccable, unless you have cropped them to make them look fantastic , either way, brilliant! I can't wait to get to grips with my D80 and start producing anything near as good as these.
