Valver without a doubt. Anyway, the people have spoken. Look back through the thread, count the votes for the old school, and theres a huge majority there in favour of the valver/Willys wide arches and bonnet vent. If 172/182 owners all felt so strongly that theirs was the meaner looking car...
Mine worked. Well it did what I wanted it to which was to stop the lights dimming. Had my alternator rebuilt, ran a 4 gauge cable directly to the boot from the battery, straight to the 1.5 farad cap, then onwards to a pair of amps. Worked very well. No dimming, no struggling for power, which it...
LOL 6.3 my arse.
If you want to compare standard times, you have to use the Renault quoted times, as they are the only people to have data on every single Renault model. I dont know exactly which of the newer 2.0 Clios it would be, but it would be one of them, disregarding the V6. So a 182 or...
LOL Stratford upon Avon is the totally opposite side of the country from me. Lowestoft where I live is the most easterly town in Britain, the most remote part of East Anglia and its as far from London in a north-easterly direction as Birmingham is in a north-westerly one...Im probably closer to...
Lowestoft - Santa Pod = 123 miles, 3 and a half hours
Lowestoft - York Dragway = 199 miles, 5 hours
Those times are each way as well, and as I tend to stick to speed limits pretty well nowadays, you could only knock half an hour off those times at most.
Neither are close - but York is a...
Those wheels on the Evo were Enkei jobs. That Puntos the nuts by the way LOL
Youd think it was obvious enough that its a Punto without drawing more attention to the fact!
Ive not read the whole thread, but seeing as the CPS dont exactly work fast, surely youd be best to just plead not guilty, which is your right, pending the prosecution disclosing their evidence to you. That would possibly change the next hearing, when it finally is set, to be a pre-trial review...
If it ever comes to it and you crash coming out of a junction, and they decide not to pay because you applied the tints yourself and didnt get it done professionally, then yes, they will want to see a receipt.
I doubt theres anyone on here whos tried to do tints themselves who hasnt regretted...
Did he get held up any more than I did, or any of us come to think of it? I dont think so...I can remember overtaking a fair few cars, keeping in front of an M3 and almost keeping up with a 911, just losing a yard or two on each corner... Youre definitely in the passenger seat next time mate!
What time was it excluding the F1 circuit? From T13 (end of the F1 when you turn sharp left to go onto the Nordschleife section) back to the pits? Thats the time you want to work to...if you want a proper Ring time then add half a minute or so for the start/finish straight.
Great vid. Just timed it and from the entrance to the main Nordschleife at T13 (i.e. not including the 30 seconds or so getting out of the gates and along the main straight) back to half way along the finish straight where you come back in to the pits, I make it about 9-and-a-half minutes...
LOL tell that to the M3 driver that couldnt keep up with me at the Ring and then came over in the car park, he wasnt gutted or anything, appreciative would be the best word. But then mine does 0-100 in the 11s. (Bragging ;))
Anyway, to get to the point, if the car does a quarter mile in 14-15...
Mechanically, mines sweet as a nut - brakes fine, tyres fine, suspension fine, engine fine, it wanted more punishment. Electrically, its knackered - anti-perc pump hasnt been working for a while which ended up with the coolant boiling over after my unscheduled stop at the side of the F1 circuit...
I agree with everything here. They should have a rule - if you have a line of more than five cars behind you, get off the road, youre too slow. But that will never happen with this government - they WANT everything to be slow.
I think the roads are more dangerous now than theyve ever been...
LOL York vs Pod again. Theyre both a hell of a distance for me so Im not biased. I dont think you can really say whats what about them unless youve been to both at least once every year. But one thing I will say is complaining that York is too far when youre happy to go to York because its...
