actually, youve just reminded me of a crazy micra import car that someone i used to know got in from japan (the old style micra). it was a 988cc engine with a turbo and supercharger in - i didnt believe him until...
yeah mine was about £160 with a new tensioner needed.
matt, sh*t i really wouldnt leave it any longer, the renault spec (for 1400s anyway) of 72k is very long, i changed mine at 60k and although its a bit of a bill at least you aint gonna be forking out nearly a grand for a rebuilt engine!

am i the first casualty of the day? got caught out on black ice doin about 15mph round a corner - all it took was the brakes to go on and the motor slid into the kerb...bang, one mangled front drivers side alloy!
...but that aint all, put the car up on the ramps at a garage and the damage is...

no particlar order - only thing would be to check the condition of the gasket before you put the cover back on, make sure its in good nick or youl get the annoying seeps of oil!

cheers
Sorry to write the title in caps but i thought this was important, and needs to be read by everyone. Last night / morning, about 5am, we were woken up to hear someone trying to fish my keys through the letterbox of our front door - fortunately for us (not for them b******s!) he was cack-handed...

et 37/38 is the ideal offset, peopel have different experieences with rims coz of the induvidual suspension on each RT - this was discussed a couple of weeks ago so try searching for it...but from what you say i reckon there may be a bit of scrubbing!...55m and 3clicks - thats quite low!!!
has anyone every orded parts from those "dial a part" places that get noationwide breakers to phone you and they then sned the parts down? I just wondered coz i can get a door sent down from preston for quite cheap - tho ive heard some horror stories about sh*t packaging and so dented and...
yeah - my bodyshop asked if it was for insurance and has quoted about a grand, but i said i may have to pay for it myself and he told me to "come back and well sort somethign out" if thats the case! Cant bame him tho, insurance companies rip everyone else off!
that is totally unreasonable mate, it really frustrates me that people can try to pull fast ones like this - like will says, get on to customer services, they really dont have a leg to stand on without proof!
