I can't remember what the kits are called. It's the front from one, the rear of another and replica 172 side skirts. I'm keeping it very subtle, nothing over the top. If you do a search on a thread called 'Started to mod my clio' , the kit I eventually decided on will be there.
Anyway. I know...
That's a right bummer. It's not so bad when you damage your own car, although it does make you feel abit daft, but to have some nasty light fingered arsehole smash your window to get your stereo and sat nav is a different matter altogether. I hope you get it sorted out alright. f**king tossers!
I'm getting ready to have my body kit fitted and have the colour coding done. Have had a pretty good quote form the guys at the above company. Has anyone had any experience with these guys? Are they good/bad?
Thanks.
Correct me if I am wrong here (which I may be) but, isn't there a clause that says something like you park your car in a council car park at your own risk? If this is right, you may have abit of a hard time claiming from them. Good luck to you if you can though, it's about time they did...
My car will be 4 years old when it is due for it's 2nd service. It will have done a maximum of 20k by then, and although Renault say to do the cam belt by 72k or 5 years, I have heard that they can go at around 30k, so taking that into account and the fact my car will be 4 years old, I am taking...
Update:
I have had a very helpful pm from a very nice guy on here. Due to the information he gave me I rang my trusty garage to confirm what could have happened. The car is going to go back to the garage where it had the suspension and torsion bar done to make sure that everything is how it...
When the torsion bar was lowered, would the garage have had to go anywhere near the nut on the end of the disk that holds in the baring? I know nothing about torsion bars, but need to know if this is possible. The car is a 2ltr 16V Megane Coupe.
Thanks.
Oh, forgot to add that the car also had a new handbrake cable fitted at the same time as the new wheel baring.
I am wondering whether it is possible that the handbrake has been adjusted too high causing the brakes to bind, thus causing the baring to overheat and fail. Could this be it, and the...
Please bear with me, this is about my Hubbys Megane, not my Clio, but being as it's a Renault I wondered if someone may be able to help.
Hubby and I took our cars out for a nice drive today round some nice country roads. We weren't doing anything daft and there was definitely no hefty...
I don't see why it's a strange question. It was just something that Hubby and I were talking about and neither of us are totally sure one way or the other. ~shrugs~
If you are sitting in your car with your ignition off and someone hits your car in the front or side with considerable force, will your airbags deploy?
It doesn't always follow that a low mileage car will have been ragged at weekends. I have an 03 reg 1.6 and she has just clocked up 15.5k. She has never been ragged, infact she has been severely babied. I guess it just depends on the driver.
40k on an 03 is absolutely nothing to worry about at...
Ermm, I would normally say each to their own, and if the owner liked it that's all that matters, but in this case, erm it's a little ott and I actually found myself laughing at it, which of course is a little unkind, but I couldn't help it.
