A black rectangular box that is behind the nearside headlight and hangs down into the the front bumper. Connected to it are a couple of tubes and wires.
I always have the same brand of tyre on all 4 corners, whichever car I have.
I just think the car looks "Looked After" with all 4 the same. Seeing cars with 2 different brands/treads or even 3 and 4 different tyres makes me think the owner doesn't care.
Stick to the Toyos mate, they are the...
As my discs and pads need changing on all 4 corners, is there an upgrade using larger discs and/or calipers from another Renault model that bolt straight on?
I like to keep the car OE and will use the car mainly for track days.
As long as you are happy about the car, Great!
Diesel cars do seem to cruise happily at motorway speeds, it's all down to the torque, makes for relaxed cruising.
You should have done your research before you paid out the cash. Sorry.
All the help in checking a cars spec is on this Forum or on the DVLA site.
A reputable dealer should take it back if it has been mis-represented, it is worth trying.
The 172 Cup is focused on handling and lightness, not on how many extras can be bolted to it like A/C, Xenons etc. they all add weight. I chose a Cup because of this and if I wanted something just for show with all the gizmos I would buy something else. Just got mine last week without any...
Different materials and sizes on each model and depends on the manufacturer. Some cars like the VW/Audi stable have interchangeble discs, pads calipers etc. so it's easy to do upgrades and keep the OE look. For instance my Fabia has Audi TT 312mm discs and pads and Octavia calipers. Not to...
The DVLA will print V5 car make & model with whatever the dealer says it is. I've seen RS 1.2 on a V5 for a Clio Cup for instance. Renualt Clio is the obvious make and model but after that it will not always be that accurate.
So Ian, it could be listed as any of your examples.
I used to have a Pug 206 and only 2 years old. on fancying a new Golf GTI a few years ago I did the rounds with the VW dealers getting a PX price to change my Pug with a nice new Golf GTI.
On entering Grange Motors ( VW, Aston Martin, Jaguar) in Brentwood Essex the smart salesman in his...
I'm buying a cat c car as well. You should expect to pay about a 1/3 to 1/2 of it's normal resale value. If your unsure what to look for then ask the owner to take the the car for an mot at a garage of your choice and go with him and pay for the test yourself, £40 or so is a lot cheaper than...
A/C Probably adds about 15kilos, to the weight of the car. Normal road driving you will not notice the difference. Considering the cost off maintaining a 7 or 8 year old cars a/c system, not worth having imo.
I was going to buy a warranty some time ago but take note they will have an age restriction as well, 5, 7, 10years, for example. Also as mentioned above they will not cover modified parts which also includes non OE parts.
Thanks Kizza, that must be the definitive test of a CUP.
Also having seen another 2002 model, the front lip spoiler is missing but it does have the turinis, dig. a/c, and cloth seats?
It's not the name of the company thats important, more to do with the skill off the dent removal man. I would Google dent removal. I've used Dent Doctor but no idea if one is near you.
