Rule no. 1. Don't take your car to Tescos, there all the same type of customers.
My wife works at Tesco and always had dings and dents in our old Pug 106 & 206, since then the Fabia just doesn't seem to get them, more rigid panels and the side bumpstrips must help. One of her work...
You might save 10% on fuel costs not using the A/C but hang on a minute, what do you do when the weather is hot? yes open the windows and that also costs an extra 5 to10% in fuel costs due to extra drag. Bit of a false economy.
There are many 172's out there for sale and I would have thought your budget would be enough, you just have to be patient and make the effort to travel some distances to find the right one.
The 172's are not a cheap car to run, insurance and mpg will be as expensive as your S3 but the Fun...

I've asked the Reno dealer to get me a Touch up paint set set my Cup. The paint code is D43 but the partsman says this code is not available in Touch up paints but checked my reg. no and I do have a valid paint code.
Anyone know why?
Can I buy a kit anywhere else?
Bugger! After many hours changing brakes, fixing fluid leaks and lots of other bits, Drove to the garage for the Test and it passed everything mechanical but failed on a crack on the windscreen. Whilst driving there an old stone chip decided to advance across the screen, into the swept area, I...
I paid £60 per wheel for 16" Turinis and that included any colour on the refurbers pallet and minor welding. Well pleased with the result. No idea who can do yours as I'm a long way from you.
45.
Some funny ideas why women have to give everything a name. I'm eagerly awaiting her decision, perhaps when she drives it a name will appear out of her logic!
