They look fine to me if you just had them fitted. The weight of the engine will gradually bring the ride height down more than the rear over a few months, or can't you wait that long.
Toyos are great for a mix of road & track but yes they do wear very quickly. Good grip in the wet as well. I'm not sure if the PE2's work out cheaper in the long run but going by the price of them, 50% more, they would have to last 50% more miles to make them whorthwhile.
Anyone used both on...
There is nothing wrong with lowering Clios or any other car as long as all the suspension is set up correctly. As for BTTC cars being so low, well they don't have to drive on the road and over speed humps etc. Our road cars have to cope with normal road conditions and a track, if you go on...
The insurance costs for you boys is horrendous.
You all must be very keen 172'ers.
As for that PH1, it's way too much. You really must shop around, there is plenty out there to choose from, don't be in such a huurry!
Mallory is your nearest and good for a first timer, only 5 corners to learn. Cadwell park in Lincoln is a wonderfull for elevation but is very technical.
And don't forget airfield trackdays, no armcos to hit just flat grass and little cones should you go off, good for first timers as well...
Despite what the suppliers say on line.
Ears M'sport is in macclesfield, They don't have this size in stock, tried myself to buy some this week.
There is no discount for anyone at Camskill (Tyres Only).

Got mine from Top Gear on Ebay and there is a...
Pirtek will only charge £35 if it is one flexi is being renewed, yours must have had 2 flexi's changed. Add a union half way along the whole assembly is another £10.
I wouldn't trust a second hand part like this, much better to have your existing one repaired by Pirtek and cheaper.

Maybe you have a bigger one than me!
From what I can remember, there are four pipes screwed into the rack, close together. The 2 closest to the ground have to be removed first and the third is the high pressure pipe that goes to the PS pump. But 17mm. is a mystery.
Looks like the one connecting one end of the rack to the other. Thats an easy change. Take it off and go to your local Pirtek branch, They'll make a new one up for you, It'll be much cheaper than Renault.
Yes thats another place to leak, seen a cracked one before.
The bellhousing is the bit joining the gearbox to the engine, shaped like a bell funny enough.
