Nice pictures the one with the glowing brakes on the GTR is , it past me like a bullet coming out of the hairpin.
The red MK2 escort was stunning and sounded crazy on track.
How did you get on tonight seen your car in the pits but never got a chance to have a play on track.
My back tires went off after 2 sessions then my mate put it off backwards at the end of the straight , but was a good night.
Gally Greg did advertise his car but then pulled it from sale and spent more on mods, his car is now on a different level to therest of us lol
As said above that is the average combined mpg, I couldn't tell you what it does in tow as its not something I really bother about. Standard they are...
Re: Road/Track 172
Got my name down fora set of fiberglass door in the group buy and will hopefully get my lexan windows and other fiberglass panels ordered soon.
Where is the best place to get windows? I know of plastic for performance but they are £££££
Coleman. Yes I only kept the R8 for about 6 months it was a nice car but didn't really mesh with it.
I live in leven but I'm along at Sitech a fair bit.
It's averaging 25mpg combined and doing around 35mpg on motorways.
The only problem with getting the focus was it put my Clio on hold for a while, but just orders fiberglass doors for it in the group buy so leaxan windows an fiberglass bonnet and tailgate still to buy.
It actualy puts power down ok in the dry but in the wet it will spin in 5th. It goes well but can still be used daily, these car do make and handle power well. My friends 650 bhp one actualy puts down power better than mine with the way the bigger turbos deliver the power.
Ive had this about 2 months now and added to the spec a bit, taking the power from 440 bhp upto 500.
Revo stage 4/5
Spec R cooler
Spec R boost pipework
Spec R oil cooler
Spec R header tank
Spec R power steering tank
Pro alloy breather
Remus exhaust
Sitech Plenum
Group A K&N
SCC fuel pump...
The car was faultless for the full day we did 5 sessions of about 20/25 min each.
I didnt time any laps but my mate in his 106 was doing 1min7 and we were evenly matched around the track.
Re: Road/Track 172
I havent done anything really to the car for the last few months as I bought a MK2 focus RS so have been using that, so the clio took a back seat and got moved to my parents out the way as the focus exhaust kept setting the alarm off.
Re: Road/Track 172
I got a shot of Sitech's corner weight scales to set mine up at home , but they could easily set your car up down at there place in Rosyth.
im hoping to get to as many as possible and try some English tracks aswell, that's my mates 106 behind me in the pics. It's over 30bhp...
Re: Road/Track 172
Well after thinking of selling the clio at the end of last year and actualy getting an offer of my full asking price , I bottled it and decided to keep it for some fun:D
Since then the only new mods done are some nice blue harnesses that came out of my new focus RS, and a...
Kelv i still have my caged and bodied one, but if I sell the range rover I may be buying my old Porsche back. That would leave me with two cars that arent really daily dutie friendly, If that does happen I might have to sell the caged one :S
China or more theroads and shipyards over here are...
Nope I'm over in china justnow so not advertised it other than on the two ford sites. Will take your black Clio as px :-)
The range rover is in at my mates garage this week actually getting the front anti roll bar bushes done as that's really the only fault I had with it.
Re: Road/Track 172
Haha yip she's a porker but goes well so might have to jump In again  , still not 100 % yet as the clio is such a fun car on the road so on track should be even better.
Re: Road/Track 172
I might be buying my old 911 turbo back but it now has a rear cage so will leave me with two fairly impractical 2 seater cars, I am half tempted to keep the Clio and fit an interior but not sure how much work will be involved.
