yeah I would tell them, a year or two ago I wouldnt have worried about it but the insurance companies know that modding is big at the moment and prolly a very lucritive get out clause for them!
youve got to be firm with renno, they ALWAYS say that theres no problem with the car at first, if theres sh*te all over your engine bay theres a problem with the car and theyve got to sort it
this is a tired old argument that modified car owners use. Im pretty sure you could get a punto gt and if you mod it enough it will outperform a 182 in every way, speed handling etc. but the fact of the matter is that youve got a 10 year old car thats difficult to insure and has cost you a small...
maybe a pm to the fella would be in order from th person responsible? so you can keep it private? obviously the person responsible might think he/shes gonna get linched if they post it up here!
you need a better car before you come on here sl*gging everyone elses off really fella. cliosport imo had one of the more consistant stands ie a genrally high standard of cars especially given that we had one of the biggest stands.
lol when I first got the 172 I was puzzled why it got like 50% more bugs than my old car, my dad suggested keeping under 120mph during the summer months would help
had a similar thing happen a couple of weeks back, some dick head couldnt handle me overtaking him so overtook me in a 30 zone further down the road and slammed on, jumped out and stood in front of my van (glad I wasnt in the car!) hes banging on the bonnet screaming at me, I told him to shift...
I agree, the best thing about the cup was the price tag and the fact it looks better than a 172 from the outside at least.
I think reno have managed to completely miss the point of the cup (new one has ABS !?) I think theyve focused too much on the price been a bit cheaper than creating a...
well I got my tickets this morning, no probs at all, last year they arrived on the Thursday before trax so was sh*tting it a bit, but this year organisation seems pretty slick no need for apologies GTI girl!
I think the cups look better and are better value for money but I wouldnt swap the 172, for the marginal performance difference Id rather have the aircon, seats and especially ABS
I just drove to france and back last week, 1200 miles we did, on the way there got 35mpg (this was mainly motorway at about 80-90) on the way back it did 37mpg and that was with a load of booze in the boot, maybe the french petrols better or something lol. Town driving we get about 30 mpg...
same goes for any car m8 if you want the latest model you pay for it, then discover 6 months down the line that its worth f**k all trade in and you can buy them new for 20% less than you paid!
I think hes BSing if someone wants to pay 15k for a williams (good as they are) they need there head looking at. Might be worth 8k or something with that milage and rarity but 15k is totally daft
I got one of these from the geezer in the US that sells them on ebay. They are accurate my 1/4 mile time was within 1/10th of a second to what I get at york. You just need to find a flat road.
