    what to do?

    Crank pin in the correct hole (not the balancin hole)? If the timing is really out, slacken the pulleys, remove the belt and rotate the camshaft until the horseshoe tool fits in.

    Electric window motors, switches and wiring aren't really heavy. You'll save around 1kg. I did it for the "minimalism-look".

    Remove stickers and bonnet bra, fit coilovers set to a reasonable height (front lower than rear) and you'll own a pretty decent vehicle!

    If the gearbox is equipped with a speed sensor, it always has a heatshield regardless of it being a 1*2 or a non-sport.

    Renault manual says that the compressor is switched off above 6000rpm. BTW: The AC compressor can take up to 10hp from the crank.

    Cup Turini offset is 38.5 Trophy Turini offset is 45. On a non-sport Cup Turinis are fine. A lowered 1*2 will have rubbing problems on the rear with Cup Turinis.

    Buy a set of Eibach prolines/sportlines. Nearly no lowering with prolines.

    Camshaft seals, a new bolt for the crankshaft pulley (check the rubber damper on the pulley hasn't perished. if it's shot replace it), coolant (Type D from Renault isn't that expensive).
