Im pretty much quite new to setting stereos myself but personally id agree with cat im not into 6x9's just changed all my standard speakers and added 2 subs in the back it mite be best you get another amp to run the 6x9's so it doesent just send bass to them just a thought i could be wrong so...

You should have got wire from the actual speakers themselves mate ive recently just got my first car aswell and changed all the speakers. Just connect the new wire or buy some normal speaker wire and connect them in its simple about that little gap im not 100% sure is there metal where the...

mate just get a flat head screwdriver its easy lol and get it under there and it all pops out just put some weight on your seat so u can get to the last screw a little annoying but saves you actually having to take it all out its pretty much same as in the front ive replaced my rear speakers...
