I changed the oil back in september with fully synthetic 5w40, maybe due for another change soon...
Thing is its starting to do it when the engine is warmed up as well, thats why im getting a little worried...
Its also very annoying :p
Tappets have started to get louder and louder and the noise is occuring nearly everytime i start the car from cold now and even when im driving with the engine warm! Already tried forte top end treatment which reduced the noise for a while but now getting worse :(
Anyone fixed this before...
Lol I think he meant that with the sport models they recommend you only use higher octane petrol because its a 'performance' engine, whereas for non-sport models eg 1.2/1.4 etc it isn't. also possibly there would be a greater 'difference' (if any tbh) from putting higher octane fuel in a sport...
What have you been doing to need new rear pads lol they last longer than the car! have you got standard calipers on the front and rear?
EBC do good brake pads for 'sport street use' called 'green stuff' pads (they're green) you can pick them up for around £30?

Its because of the profile, it's a rare size tyre hence harder to get hold of and more expensive. Try 215/40/17 a lot more common and cheaper starting around £50.
Something has never been quite right about my alarm, sometimes it beeps more times than it does other times when locking, or it doesn't beep at all! But now it has started going off randomly, I leave it on the drive, all windows and boot shut, arm it, and it will just go off randomly! No cats or...
Lol no I think the last muppet who worked on the car went round with a torque gun on maximum setting and did up all the bolts!
Then to top it off the radiator bleed valve was on so tight I had to get mole grips on it, then it oh so nicely snapped off onto the grips :(
