When you turn the ignition do you hear a click? Bet you the solonoid in your starter motor is sticking, next time turn the key twice then try and flick the key back and forth between second/third turn, this usually works eventually to unstick it... or try hitting the starter motor with a hammer...

The caliper was sticking on the disc so the pads could have worn I suppose, I did drive it a fair bit during that week? So can I go back and threaten them with some form of legal action if they don't give me some money back? Especially over the caliper as that was total rubbish...

Ok I've got the discs but I don't have the tools here to fit them myself and I can't drive home cause one of the discs is cracked (twice!) so how much should I expect to pay to have a pair of rear discs fitted?

From what i've heard changing your heater matrix is quite a effort, doesn't cost much to replace just the labour, could do it yourself but take u a while!

Just noticed it today but when I turned the blower onto '3' the lights dimmed slightly, when I turned it off they got brighter again! Is this normal or does it mean something is broken :S

I think it was just low on oil, I topped it up till the gauge was just under the max line and after a drive its totally gone, what a relief!
