    BT / Internet query

To save me sitting in a queue does anyone know the answer to this? The BT line at our new place should be connected on Monday 10th March, how long do we need to wait before we could have broadband on the line? I'm just going to move my existing pipex account across. Edit: Seems Sky LLU is...

    Moving house and Sky

We've had Sky tv for 2 years now and will be moving house soon. If we get the place we're currently looking at then there is no dish up. Do Sky charge you for setting up a new dish? Their website doesn't say and I don't fancy being stuck in a telephone queue to find out unless I have to.

KDF you may want to have a drink before you commence reading ;) After 2 years of Linux loving I've gone back to windows. Although WINE/Cedega has come a long way, it seems I'm just unlucky and none of my windows only games are supported. I have a console but have always preferred the...

    Another Sky Problem Query

No matter which item I choose from the menu e.g. Entertainment, Movies etc they all say: "There are no services of this type available" If I go in via Favourites then I can view the channels. I've tried leaving the box off for 5-10 mins and turning it back on and gone through the new...

    Google Maps Help

I've created a map that I want to share with hundreds of placemarks. The problem I am having is that so far it's split them onto 2 pages (I may end up with 3 or 4) and it will not show ALL placemarks from those 2 pages. If I click on page 1 I can see page 1's placemarks only and likewise...

    AV Sender

Getting tired of the seemingly random interference with mine. I only have to nudge a cable and suddenly I'm getting scrolling lines down the screen. OMFG Finally Upgraded

As some may remember, I chose to upgrade my 2Mb Pipex to their "upto" 8Mb Pipex last year, after many delays it finally took place in January, however despite my modem syncing at 8Mb, I could still only download at 2Mb. After many phone calls and letters that never got replied to, I gave up and...

    Voicemail On Mobile

Why don't mobiles have their own voice mail service rather than replying on the provider to offer the service? I've downgraded my tariff which means I would have to pay 20p a minute to listen to voice mail, so I've turned it off! Land line phone's have their own answer machine, so why...
