Sometimes it's not just about the figures if it adds to the driveability. Mods breathing mods need backing up with a remap so it's going to cost but could make the car much more enjoyable to drive!
Plus the things weigh a ton and the less time they are on the car the longer they will last!
It wouldn't bother people who know the brand etc but on paper to Joe Public it doesn't look favourable compared to rivals in its sector.
Not that a high output 1.6t would be any better on fuel driven hard but I'm sure the manufacturers figures will be better.
Well a 24mpg Clio isn't exactly appetising @ over £1:20 per litre of super unleaded and I doubt they are going to make the mk4 smaller or lighter either!
It's a shame they can't get around all the ghey rules and regs what with RS models making up only a small amount of total sales. They could lean the engines right off or detune them or something then offer a free remap after purchase;)
V6 4motion? No ta! If I wasn't worried about fuel costs I'd have a 350Z!
I've had my 182 for about 5 years now, didn't change it before as I was saving for a deposit, now couldn't replace it with any dissimilar as I have a mortgage!
I was tempted by the 200 deals a few months back but only...

Very nice Tom!
I agree with the other comments that you need some JMS decals other than the tiny on on the bonnet!
I'd quite fancy getting my mirror caps and super-t's done in Porche RS orange if I had any monies!
Hmmm, I like RB, but it's a bit much on the R26R's with the red wheels and stickers too. The grey is much more subtle, looks like a weapon, is a weapon!
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Top man! I rang Darlingtons in Harlow to order one in, hopefully it will hold my cracked bumper together... They are a VW/Skoda/Renault franchise and I could hear the parts guys talking in the background, one of them said 'it will be for a Clio because the...
Yep thats what I meant, the retaining clips on the rub strips were damaged during the theft.
Any old silicone sealant? I'm sure I remember reading somewhere about some type of marine sealant?
Had the uprated dogbone mount done, bit more vibration, felt much better though, still a bit of movement/knocking.
Had the rest of the mounts done, bit more vibration, felt even more better, gearchanges feel more positive, no movent/knocking ever again!! I wish I had done this when I first got...
Thats my only worry, although my front diamond has mach 3 razors bluetacked to the back of it so they'd probably smash a window in anger but might think twice about doing it again!
.....ideally with a concealed dose of Anthrax/ Ricin hidden inside for them next time! I searched before but theres a few bullet threads..
A while back some c*** ripped off my bullets and the retaining clips were snapped off, what can I use to stick the new ones (kindly painted by Nathj) back...
This needs to be done by someone knowledgable and with the right tools, most people go with an aftermarket specialist like those who advertise in the traders section;)
