Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a camera for my wife for Christmas as she's been saying all year she thinks she'd like to get into photography and tbh her point and shoot is getting on a little now.
Now the problem I'm having comes about as I know very little about cameras.
I don't trust salesmen and...
Blue 172 cup, ktec stickers on skirts, twin exit exhaust and gloss black turinis.

Blue 197 wearing f1 stickers, yellow mirrors and spoiler, around 1:20 in broadstairs, then again 1:30ish leaving westwood cross
ph-quick in silver about 1:25ish, just outside margate hospital
gotta get me some of these!
Maybe they use the same dyno as k-tec?

Went in to weigh my old cat in, it was parked next to the cash office.
Got funny look trying to take a photo.....and failed.
Looked like it had a debadged front end, couldn't really see as it was parked nose in to the booth.
did manage to see the side on quite well though.
Ph2 strips and...

I saw this and didn't know whether to laugh, or cry?
until I saw this...
I've got one I've cut out of my old exhaust, and had a sports cat welded inplace.
Just wondered what it's worth scrap, genuine renault item, local scrappy offered £25, do i rip his arm off or push for more?
Has anyone got a close up shot of a ph2 headlight, and a cup headlight?
And a shot of the rear connections
i'm convinced ive got a set of campus headlights in my car.
and i'm trying to restore / repair it beyond the previous owners abilities
Renault are running a competition on their twitter page.
they want a photo of your renault emailed to eresponse@renault.co.uk
winner gets £50.
nothing to do with me, saw it earlier and thought i'd share.
god knows theyve had enough money off me in the last 3 years!
Finally got my 182 manifold on, along with a custom sports cat to keep mr MOT man happy.
Now the car's had an oil drip for ages, but it's only a drip, and I always thought it was the sump gasket.
I've had it up on axle stands for the last 3 weeks while the subframe was off and the manifold...
What version of the clip software does everyone use?
i've not used this before, only the freebies alongside a cheapo handheld code reader.
i take it clip will work with an obd usb cable like the elm327 ok?
I know there were a couple of peoples doing 182 manifold conversions on their 172's and link pipes / cat adapters were being discussed.
I'd mentioned I had a cunning plan for mine as it's due an MOT and the K-Tec cat was way out of budget with everything else going on, as was a new cat from...
Is the mileage figure stored in the ECU or in the dash dials themselves?
i'm looking at the led swap / dial change but wanted to do a swap out.
is this possible or do i need to keep the original set in to retain mileage?
Once the 172 is back in 1 piece and road legal again, im thinking of having it mapped.
Can anyone recommend anywhere in kent who actually knows what they're doing with one of these?
the mods on the car at the time will be:
matched inlets
induction kit
182 manifold conversion
ktec decat link...
I'm looking at getting a stealth exhaust, but i don't want anything overly loud.
I'm currently running a 182 manifold, with a k-tec decat link pipe to the standard 172 back end.
The back box is on it's way out, and in need of replacement.
I've seen various threads on people saying their stealth...
This is probably going to flop like soggy cardboard, but i'm just after confirmation mine wasn't the only POETS 172 nailed together!
my current list of faults in date order:
camshaft failure @ 40k miles - after 4 days of ownership - new engine in
earth strap snapping - 2 weeks after new engine...
Not as serious as the title sounds, but strange question.......
I was talking to a Ford Championship racer last week, (nothing overly special, only ST's) who swears blind on changing his gearbox oil for autobox oil. They run the standard Ford ST gearboxes, but he claims that Autobox oil is...
Just checking in to see who the south east rep is these days?
i've been away for 2 years or so and people have moved round, also the map says dci is the rep still, his profile says he's been inactive over a year?
on the bright side, my 172 project is go again :)
Hi Guys,
long time member returning from the great beyond.
i'm currently in the process of getting my ph2 172 back on the road after its spent 2 years sat on the drive.
it's currently got the subframe off while i replace the sump gasket and give it a general service and some love.
While its in...
Hey guys, just checking if I've picked up a duff, or got the wrong part altogether.
Just bought an LMA remote pressure T piece for my oil pressure guage from demon tweeks, with the m14x1.5 thread for the block, and was under the impression that this would be the same at the other end for the...
