Does it do it with the handbrake off (leave it off so it doesn't stick).
Could also be bushes. I have noticed the same noise on a few cars but ignored it.
Had Friday off due to having manflu, and then did very little over the weekend, I didn't feel up to doing too much at all, Luckily I had booked today off a couple of weeks ago.
I did get the interior sorted out, but have no pictures, probably the cleanest clio interior I've ever had.
Changed...

Of course not, but gaining more caster and camber at the top wouldn't be bad.
Solid top mounts remove all the rubber (theres a big rubber disc on standard) and just replace with a bearing. I have PMS solids on mine, but I don't think I'd put them on another non-track car. Stick with standards.
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Not for lengh so much, but you have to wind them out a long way, so want nice clean thread.
Put inners and outers on it, as it'll tighten it up too.
Nah thats right, mine are PMS and are the exact same. It doesn't fill you with confidence when you look at it, but its taken some serious battering on my car.
I suggested making it like the first one to be sure he liked it, before cutting the backbox off.
When you're trying to get the exhaust lined up in a cut out perfectly, you want a uprated mount. I speak from experiance.
Looks good dude!
Best thing for the hanger is fill a standard mount with tigerseal or similar, powerflex (as per on my car too) splits after 5mins.
What you reckon to the sound?
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
In ref to rear beam thread, no point in changing the rear tbh, its same width beam, but disc setup makes it wider.
Wide track front should be good though. Wishbones, hubs, driveshafts, ARB, shocks, Calipers, discs & pads. You'd want to change Track rods when...
Exhaust surrounds just slide them off the bumper, it becomes pretty easy once you understand it.
Washer blanks have a nut on the back, be careful, as they often break.
I work in the aftermarket (Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your view), but I fit 90% of parking sensors for 3 Renault dealers (plus many others) as I can do a kit the same as factory, cheaper and normally better looking (smaller).
:D
I fit these for a living, and hate the screen sticky aerials.
Buy a replacement roof aerial type, much more reliable and you'll get better reception. Don't think its cheap though.
The screen one you have, will have bad signal on the windscreen, and even worse on the rear side window (due to...
Never a fan of Yellow fogs, on any car. Clear looks clean and nice.
Tow eye, not a huge fan either, Fine on a full time track car.
Sort your front splitter out too :)
Sorry to be so negative lol.
TBH the only reason renault change them is if they get sticky, generally with rust. If you keep yours well lubed, and make sure both bits move freely, you won't have a problem.
The problem arises when the secondary catch (the one you pull after releaseing the bonnet inside) gets stuck in the...
Re: Anyone know what Renault charge for *just* a cambelt change, literally nothing el
On a similar note, I believe my works Trafic (2.0 DCi) is 25k service intervals, that's too long IMO, moreso due to the weight and the ragging they get. Think we're doing it every 12k, I've forgotten.
Having done it thousands of times now, It no longer worries me, worst case we're paying for a bumper!
Most cars, that you can spec with factory sensors have premarks, so they're easy.
Cars without, for example in this case, a Clio 4 Front, we figure out where looks and functions best, from...
