Cutting the arm wouldn't really work.
Theres a tip with like 17mm spanner over the arm and the nut, unscrewing it to pull the arm off, but it didnt work for me.
Rear Bias valve, personally I'd go for an adjustable internally mounted. You'll want to basically back them off to nothing anyway.
Standard Cups have a bias valve on the rear beam.
I'm breaking a cup atm if you need bits.
Might be too low to get on my drive when we're done. Not that you need a really low car to struggle with my driveway!
When Mark said about them to be I lol'ed
Rocker cover bolts are 8nm and 12nm, but I normally do them all 12nm as suggested by a few people. Don't overdo them, they don't take much to snap.
Don't remove the cover however as they don't have cam caps, so removing the cover would mess up the timing!
If its the rocker cover gasket...
Yeah I'd help. I've also offered to buy the car, and want first refusal.
The pump isnt an issue BTW, you'd just fit your pump and injectors, it'd require a belt change, but you'd want to do that anyway.
Wondered how long it'd be before this happend when I spoke to you!
Might as well do it now, You'll enjoy it in the summer.
If you ever want a hand with it, as I said before, Happily offer my hand.
Planned to change my cambelt tonight... Didn't get it done....
Had to run down my mates and strip the front end of my car apart...
Since the bolt that you remove to fit the crank locking pin had rounded, I'm probably to blame, but its my own car so! Ran it down to my mate as hes good with...
More work for me this weekend! I kidd, hopefully it'll be a good, productive day!
I liked the ever so slight camber, so hopefully it'll look good on my car.
We'll have to slam it ;)
You'll deffo want the tracking doing ASAP afterwards too, as it'll be quite far out. and might want the front...
Looks bloody good Daniel. Cleaner than mine! Will have to get you to clean our two when we replace them in 2 years.
On the topic of the van though, f**king love these things, Hope the replacement is as good, else I might consider the new Transit, having worked on a few it seems like a bloody...
Depends how much of it you remove too. You could remove all the heater box in the scuttle and change that to non-AC (you couldn't change that to cup setup easily as cups don't have recirc). You'll need the bulkhead plate if doing that too.
Nothing is non reversible, just takes time to refit it...
Re: dmallett's indecisive clio thread! Monaco ph2 pg1+, Titanium ph1 pg31+, PB ph1 pg
I should hope so considering its my day job ;) and of course I could ;)
Don't think theres any adjustment, being right at the top will be the clutch.
And it is best to drop the subframe, although as mentioned, electric PAS makes the rack easier as you don't have to split it from the subframe on the way down.
I'd maybe consider dropping the whole engine and gearbox...
