I'll be needing driveshafts, I'm keeping the Renault box. I need to figure the shifter too! I doubt I'll find a dci100 stick etc. also need to figure clutch master cylinder.
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Found people breaking cars. Last one came from a quick search for a breaking, found one with everything, climate, auto wipers etc.
welcome me to my spare loom, I was going to throw it.
Re: dmallett's titanium ph1
I thought you were a proper man, Not one of these 20mm homos :P
I'll offer my hand to do the dash too, Its not something I've done, but interested to learn.
I personally like the full, black on black on black lol.
Probs could, I didn't bother trying though. If I was to do it again, I'd weigh in the std cat and custom make a pipe, which will flow better too, Maybe get me to 78hp!
Reality is, I'll be throwing the 1.5 away in favor for a 1.9 later this year. Hopefully have it done before some shows, and at...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Deffo odd, but I don't know enough about the inner wirings of mine, as I never had to go this far!
If you get stuck with any of it, I've just remembered I have a Climate control DCi loom, but I forget why I didn't use it, perhaps no auto lights or something.
Yesterday was the tester tbh. I got out of the car at the end of the day, and was like, seats are going. I'm going to get them cleaned and PM you first, and some others before they go up for sale.
grazo22 Break out the welder. Cut it open, smash it out, weld it back up. All mine is. Isn't the...
Your merc was one of the funniest of the day I have to admit. Right from "Is it running?" to the dyno run and not being able to hear when he was doing a run!
He would have got more money out of it, if he actually bothered to be there when I collected! Oh well!
Update time, Nothing has happend on my driveway though! Well, sorta.
Firstly, went to a facebook Renault (basically Clio) meet at Pitsea on Thursday. Wasn't too bad.
Cheers to Clio172T for...
As above, straight fit. Although some have different adjuster motors which you'll need to swap over.
Unsure on MOT, Mine passed but then I doubt my MOT man cared.
Re: dmallett's titanium ph1
Tis good!
Don't fit aerocatches ;)
I have the seatbelts, and carpet from the Cup I'm breaking. Also rear doorcards, but they are Cup, so the not so nice fabric.
This is exactly what I purchased... Had them for a fair few days now.
Really like it, I got cool white, which is a lot brighter white than I expected, but ideal for the kitchen.
Will replace the living room energy saving bulbs with Warm White LED's soon I think.
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Hmm, mines different. I still have the grey and red plug on the clock.
When you said about not changing temp, I nearly said have you plugged in the roof light sensor/fan, as when Paris's 182 one was unplugged it wouldn't change temp properly.
Yep I did.
I've done mods since Rindy's so can't compare at all! I made 67.4HP and 114LBFT at Rindys, on a completely standard engine.
Yesterday I ran 76.8HP and 140LBFT with an extra 10k or so, Decat, no backbox etc and intercooler.
See below...
It'll be twisted type being a Ph2.
That hole in the gearbox, get it helicoiled or timeset as mentioned above. It'll only contuine to f**k up as it is now. Is quite common on them where people have over torqued, or on some of the Non-sports (megane's spring to mind) where theres no extra bracket...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Any non sport simon.
grazo22 where is the external temp measurement for the climate? I thought it had one in one of the heater boxes? I didn't have to mess with that issue luckily!
Echo what everybody else has said really.
First SRR day I've been too, was a brilliant day and it would be awesome if they move rather than shut up shop.
Extreamly happy with my 76.8hp & 140lfbt.
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Absoulote pig. Fair play for doing it that way, I changed my whole loom that already had everything on it (Cruise, Climate, headlight washers, auto lights etc).
ThomasBrentnall You could just change the loom on yours, rather than wiring it in like Grazo, Thats...
Mark is a picky sod, The 6000K HID's atm are a bit too blue for him, so going down to 5000k to hopefully match the bright white of the CREE LED Sidelights.
