depends what you are after. the build quality on both is very good imo.
sound wise they are totaly different. the miltek is fairly quiet and slightly boomy with small amount of raspyness on acceleration. its louder than standard but still quite subtle.
the yozza is loud even on idle. very loud...
plans were to take a drive to hunstanton, get a bag of chips, take a few photo's and go for a little drive. the numbers were looking good at the beginning of the month but quite a lot of people dropped out a week before. the weather was talking of being pretty bad too.
the few of us that could...
in theory yes... but what if you need the cat for mot time?
also, a decat is full bore (straight through) and the back end of the original cat restricts flow slightly (smaller diameter)
i dont really have a very decent camera. looks like its going to be a poor turnout this time. nevermind. yeah i will be there at 12ish. i will have a text round and see who is up for it. see you in a bit mate.
hi dolby.
i personally wouldn't bother with a decat. i had one a while ago. it is a bit of a pain changing it for mot, and sometimes the joints dont seal properly when changing it then your left with a blowing exhaust etc. and you have to replace the mani to cat donut pretty much every time. and...

then once dry, re-oil and re-fit.
(sorry thought it said k&n. same process for bmc but you can squeeze the foam to...
not on mine. not complaining tho. the difference they have made is worth the vibrations and rattles imo.
i agree 100%. onlydownside is vibrations/rattles at low revs. i can live with that tho.
you got your car back!! :) great news. hopoe it wasn't too expensive mate.
lets just go and see who turns up. cant see hunstanton happening but should still be a laugh.
yeah they do help a little. they need cleaning and oiling at least once a year tho.
also remove the top cold air feed into the airbox, and remove the acoustic valve (guide on here). it will all help very slightly towards making it breathe better. dont expect power gains to, just seems to rev...
