hope this is still happening. really hope the car is ready beij. you can always jump in with me if the car is not ready mate.
hate hearing things like this. i know worse things happen etc... but what scummy fucker would do that!? what a complete pain in the ass! and a lot of money to fix!
gutted for you. bet you are/were steaming!
sorry to hijack the thread, but do the whiteline arb's make a big difference. i have had a bit of a read up of them and found a few threads. sounds like they can make the car tail happy tho? is that right?
i have had both too like warren. not a lot of difference in handling/ride between the two to be honest. i like the sportlines better due to the ride height. great all round spring. prolines did not lower the car at all and felt very simelar to the sortlines.
:( gutted tom.
yeah the back corner of tesco carpark is usually empty. sounds like a good plan.
was going to text you steve to see if you fancied it :)
mine is an 04 on 59k and feels better than ever. (a few interior rattles tho). mainly down to the k-tec engine mounts, wouldn't change them back to standard tho, made the car feel and respond much better. everything feels tight and direct.
they are a pain in the ass mate. from memory i got a bearing puller or something to remove it. was solid on there tho. sometimes is best to saw it off carefully. its usually quicker.
looks s**t imo. needs to have the standard black plastic to break it up a bit. makes it look very cheap colour coded. a coat of matte black looks best imo.
hopefully got 2 others confirmed.
craig in his ph1 172 (its for sale £2000)
and his mate with an exclusive :)
so are the plans still meet on sun 28th feb at hampton pub at 12 midday? just to clear things up. lol.
i was looking at the airbox setup last year and i was trying to work out a way of removing the bottom half of the airbox and turning the top half 90degrees to the left and making some king of heat shield from sheet metal. was going to be too much time and effort tho.
i didn't think i could make this but i have had a change of plans :)
