I've got another set coming tomorrow from them.
Can be an absolute nighmare if it's already spinning!
@Mr Underhill's idea is probably your best bet.
I don't think an impact would work now it's spinning
Lucky with that aux belt, mate. Could have gone while the engine was running and spat it into the cambelt.
Do you have the plastic splash guard behind the front grille fitted? They protect the alternator from excess water ingress.
Hard to say what's happened really.
The sensor failing at the same time as doing the brakes would be too much of a coincidence. Possibly disturbed it...
Only other thing to check now is the abs ring tooth count, pretty sure it's 44 tooth on these.
The revving on startup is likely to have been an air leak or throttle body unplugged (although it wouldn't normally rev full throttle, more like 3000rpm).
The relays clicking sounds like a UCH fault or you still have an earth fault somewhere, which is why the immobiliser won't go off.
Check the earth wires under the carpet/plastic boot trim.
The black rubber blanking plugs next to the rear lights like to leak water down onto the earth points.
Seal them up while you're there.
The light coming on won't affect the running of the car.
It's probably just got confused, or potentially the sports cat isn't as good as it's meant to be.
The second sensor is just for cat performance monitoring, it's the first sensor that controls fueling.
