Never needed to polish the Clio really it kept its shine well and I had good protection on it :) I have some AG SRP, presume that would be better or is it dog turd? As you know thinking of a DA to do it properly, quickly and most importantly easily compared to hand polishing!

    Das-6 with?

Following on from this as nobody is awake yet, what about just the Meguiars Hex-Logic kit? How dies the Meg's compare to Menzerner? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/das-6-pro-meguiars-hex-logic-kit/prod_1212.html I was looking at the DAS-6 PRO...

    Das-6 with?

Looks tidy :) After I seemingly failed to remove the CQuartz buffing properly, I think I'm going to venture down this route again, as it will take way too long to polish by hand to remove it (as I've found out) to then re-apply it. I always hear good things of Menzerna. What polishes/pads...

Doesn't even need to be 10mins, as long as the motorway is flattish, you can tell pretty instantly if its gonna stay 40+ or not :).

    Returning air intake to standard

Most people remove the acoustic valve anyway, so don't worry about that. Just the airbox is all you require. That elbow you have on it is the standard one too :).
