One thing no one has mentioned is the road surface, if its only motorway when it happens, is it the same road or a diff road? and is it the same place everytime or a diff place? this needs to be eliminated.

It certainly sound like a resistance problem measure the tdc sensor across the twp pins when its not firing you should see roughly 250ohms if not its a porked sensor
Check wiriing under gearbox mount for rubbing loom also
Ok have you measured the voltage of the can high and low = should be roughly 5volts when added together ie high 2.85v low 2.18v.
If so measure the volts when system is ok and make a note.
Then measure the high can when dead. if its considerably lower or even no volts at all pull of the...
Check the fuse and relay box in the engine bay , relays are for engine management and imobiliser maybe an issue down there.
So are we clear after it stalls will it or wont it fire up
Yes blue connector has gold plated terminals
Was the ref to the tdc sensor in the fault memory?
If so renault have gold plated these terminals for the reason of bad contact with the tdc sensor, do you have these one's fitted
Which module have you programmed first? also is the christmas lights the only problem.

The resistance of the circuit is measured with the control units not fitted normally the resistor is in the control unit itself Engine ecu and/or can block. when resistance is measured with the Ecu fitted the resistance is halved as its then a running a series circuit. say 120ohms not connected...
