There are some bits of audio hardware/software that will up-scale (for want of a better word) stereo into 5.1
Think mine is called DTS, but it's pretty pants tbh. music is designed for stereo.
calm down. Pigeon post pictures take time. Poor thing has a gammy leg, broken wing, and is in the vets for a hip replacement.
but he's still pimpin' y0
You've mixed up the two operating modes of GDI.
You've got a homogenous mode. That is for the higher power end of the map. This injects on the induction stroke and aims to get a stoichiometric AFR in the cylinder. The advantage of GDI here is that the fuel cools the compressing mixture and...
The holes on the injectors are smaller because the pressure behind them is 120bar rather than 3-5bar!
What your describing doesent sound anything like direct injection.
What is this about the piston moving down? Is that meant to be the power stroke or the induction stroke? I don't know where...
I'm sorry mate, but I'm pretty sure your wrong. During stratified operation those injectors have to deliver all the fuel that the clylinder requires in about 10 degrees of crank rotation. That requires a fair old bit of flow capacity. So when you start operating homogenously for full power (lol...
Dude it's direct injection. They are capable of a lot of flow because of how quick they have to deliver during fuel-stratified (fuel saving) operation.
It's fitted with an APR direct injection high pressure pump with a bigger piston to push more fuel into the rail and maintain the 120 bar...
driveshaft can't fall out without unbolting the CV boot (in my experience)
You need to check to see if your inner CV boot has split. You may need to undo the hub nut to get the driveshaft out to inspect the boot and fit another.
possibly a load sensor, MAP would be my first thought.
I could be way off the mark, but heres my thinking anyway..... Missfire perhaps caused by lean mixture, hence load sensor, MAPs can be effected at high temperature dependant on type?
Edit: and RS tuner will read a fault if it's registering...
you could still have blown the gasket though surely? I'm not sure how long you'd realistically see the signs of burning coolant on the plugs.
tbh dude. I think you know what your up to there, and I think theres a good chance it's a slight HG failure. Checked the rad? leak on the drive at all?
