if you perform the test with the engine cold, you havent a hope in hell. Always give the car a good blatt before doing emissions testing.
These normally point to a faulty upstream lambda sensor. I changed the sensor on my 172 twice while owning it. Helped idle and MPG massively.

jees. This is the second case of this on here in 2 or 3 days. Some guy had the same problem with his rally car, although he was running stronger valve springs, cams, and a raised limiter. Sucks!

That sounds ideal! I've found it really rewarding learning MIG and I was pleased with how my subframe turned out. I regret not spending more on the welder tho. Going to try and upgrade and have a pop at my rusty sills and some panel work after christmas...
thats why they recommend new bolts. Flywheel bolts are normally stretch bolts.
Edit - sounds silly, but you are tightening progressively round all the bolts right?
