I get about 35mpg pottering about on my 50 mile motorway commute
If I take the van instead and just use the 220 blasting about locally it drops sub 30 very quickly
You average 100mpg over say 100 miles? Surely that trip computer is broken. I can drive pretty economical but 70mpg on a long trip is about the best I could ever manage
MPG went up a little due to the torque you didn't need to down shift as much but drivability was night and day, standard ones feel broken when you go back to one lol the performance is fantastic, the torque from 1500rpm-3000rpm is brilliant
I average 35mpg pottering about in auto normal mode, push on and it soon drops sub 30mpg.
Facelift interior is a bit nicer with the different centre console and nicer air vents etc, led lighting inside and led lights outside make a massive difference when driving at night.
They are apparently...
Bullet proof, no issues to report.
My wife done 160k in a 14 plate over 5yrs, I done oil and filter every 18k and brakes when it needed them, probably 6 sets of front tyres and it was still on it's original rears. Was never back to a dealership in the 5 years we had it, sailed it's 2 MOT's too...
Good condition 172, the cup weight saving isn't worth it when your going to strip the 172 anyway.
Strip, fit your safety gear, brakes, 15s/tyres, suspension. And enjoy
fantastic cars absolutely loved my pair! such a riot once tuned, I used to hold on to 172/182s until around 100mph which really is more than enough for the road these days.
my first one was a bit higher milage and I roasted the clutch with 150lb/ft in about 2000 miles lol the second one had no...
Was a faulty tdc sensor, £2 from the scrappys!
Mates white DCi blew a boost pipe so the wee van came to the rescue and done a 50 mile round trip to save him with a new pipe
Cup dampers
Eibsch sportline springs
M1144 front pads
Good quality front discs
Pilotsport3 tyres
Smaller steering wheel
And the best mod for them, rstuner 98ron map
Yeah it rectified all the silly bits they got wrong with the 200 and the facelift interior is a touch nicer.
Never driven a 135 but I've driven a 140, fantastic cars, stupidly fast but the Clio is a hell of a lot more involving to drive. It's still got that Renault sport magic but without the...
I just got my mates garage to do it for me as my weekends are action packed at the moment! they just used all gates stuff on it, spot on so far.
no not seen it will check it out, definitely not bidding though haha!!
my old dear changes virgin media between her and my dads name every time its due for renewal to take the new customer deals, I couldn't be arsed with the hassle but it works for her!
Plugged it in and was met with these...
Cleared the codes, re started and cycled the fault a few times
Will change the tdc sensor this afternoon and see if we have a cure! Odd as usually they don't like to start when it fails.
got you lol! no issues drained the filter no issues, generally the pumps fail over a long time too on them with the tell tale sign its on its way out when its not holding pressure under load but this one runs spot on, or did until yesterday at 7pm lol
yeah same pedal setup, I replaced the pedal about 6 months ago as it was bringing up the electrical warning light and loosing power, a different fault with the pedal could cause this though I suppose!
A strange one that has me stumped, so my wee van has a nice healthy fuel system, it will sit on full throttle, up hill on the motorway with no issues, no warning lights etc. Not a single bubble in the fuel lines.
Yesterday I done a 100 mile round trip with no issues, less than a minute from...
it was a heap, sold it for what it cost me to buy and get up the road!, box was gone, fuel system gone, tatty outside, no brakes etc etc lol
The white one broke down tonight, done 500 mile round trip in it, 30 seconds from home it cut out, starts and idles fine but the minute you give it any...
Years since I've done one but easier with 2 people someone under the car and someone going down. Through the engine bay.
Chances are it's not came loose but one of the sides has failed, worth getting a new fitting kit and just replacing it
