just swap the engines over and use your current injectors, make sure you number them so they go in the new engine in the same order.
use your current pump if its working fine as you know its good
ahh that's a shame! looked a cracker in the pics too, but at that top money you expect perfect!
I gave up looking for a clean one and bought a cheap heap that was straight and went to town on it, ended up just being one thing after another and I gave up on it and sold it on, spent a whack on it...
cheers for the comments guys, not really planning anything else for it just keep it running, its cost me less than its worth so far so don't really want to put anymore cash into it, might do a DIY wheel refurb to remove the kerb marks on a few of them but that's about it really. Looking for...
so the reason the ford fiesta st is outselling the clio is purely because ford have a bigger market share?
not because they are offering the customers what they want? at a good price? with the prospect of better residuals?
I don't mind the 5 doors, or the turbo engine or the gearbox as long as they work as they should and the gearbox is killing it for me! if they do some sort of software update to improve it which will come id imagine then id have one!
this seems to have gone quiet! no sign of any uk special edition models? gearbox software updates? manual boxes? more power?
just lying back and letting the fiesta st out sell it by the bucket load!
when tuning 1.2 TCE engines you can use F4R injectors and then F4RT injectors when needed as an upgrade so id imagine they will be fine on your K4M fuel rail! but not 100% on that
yep fastchip can map a k4m no idea if the ecu can be used with a boosted application but id imagine it will, however not as good as aftermarket management! but henk will be able to map it with a wideband its not ideal but its possible
rear light appeared to be shorting out as if I unscrewed the little screw holding the rear light cluster in, not so it was loose but just not as tight as it was, it wouldn't blow the fuse, any tighter and it would start blowing fuses again!
a while back this lol
a clio GT will be a lot worse on fuel than your CDTi your currently driving! the K4M is horrendous on fuel for what it is! and gutless too! id rather have a 1.2 TCE Dynamique SX
had a cracked fog light
remembered that 5 or 6 years ago I saw a smashed clio at the side of the road on the way to work and on the way home it was gone yet the front bumper was still lying! had a good foglight in it so I removed it lol! now 5 years later its finally became of use...
I struggled a bit with it to begin with, loved how smooth and fluid it was from day one but lack of functionality coming from Symbian was an issue for me but I learned to work around it and now as every new update comes, more functionality comes with it. really looking forward to the quad core...
Re: Anyone interested in swapping an 7mth old Powerflow for a genuine Renault 182 exh
LOL your about as demanding as my mrs.
not sure anyone will swap a GOOD condition 182 exhaust for a powerflow tho!!
Best bet would be to get a spare jc5 and just have it rebuilt ready to swap over when it brakes then when that happens just rebuild the broken one and repeat all over again lol thays my plan for my turbo 172 when i build it
mine lasted about a year and 20k but that was hard hard driving, i think as long as you let the torque come in a bit slower rather than sinking the boot in a high gear all the time it will be fine as mine only slipped at 2000rpm until 2500rpm then you could get the boot down and it was fine...
the usual famous last words were used on this car, buy it cheap, spend zero on it, sell it on for a profit in a few months, no mods, no nothing!! yeah right!!!
car was bought as a runabout after selling my twingo TCE to free up cash for my house and then to do me for a few months until I...
