the sellers are LK performance is cleckheaton. dont buy anything from there, they dont know their heads from their arses. i used to get parts from there back in the day, everything they supplied was wrong / didnt fit / poor quality.
yes mate, not the 182 though. our new DCI.
its not too bad buddy. someone ran into the back of us and pushed us into the back of someone else.
fortunately it wasnt a major incident although amy has knackered her back in. luckily its only cosmetic damage to the DCI and its the third parties...
My solution will work however it is abit of a pain to do.
You need to remove both front struts and place them carefully in a vice, then hack saw the adjustment rings off carefully. Once removed then attack the threads with wd40 and a wire brush. V maxx do sell separate parts for their coilover...
For the price I have got mine new I wouldn't bother with the second hand RS tuners. I just paid £215 including delivery and map for my 182.
The second hand RS tuners are about £110 ish? Plus the map and the unlock license, which would work out at about £180 ish. (£ not euros)
For me i don't...
when you do over 1000 miles a month the more economical the vehicle is the better. i use the transit for work and my daily, the 182 is my toy, the VTR is amys daily but will be soon parked up and either turbo'd or sold and replaced with an old ford and the DCI will be amys daily.
the golf doesnt really matter because we sold 12 months ago. i sold it to a mate who would probably sell it back to me but i dont want it back tbh.
the cheapest quote she has had so far was with diamond insurance (specialise in women's insurance iirc?)
the golf was £550 a year FC when i had it, however, its for my Mrs so the policy is obviously for her and she is younger than me with only 2 years NCB.
we looked at alternative insurance policies and they are coming out at about £620 a year FC with buisness milage, which is quite cheap IMO and reasonable.
the only catch to this is my mrs has 4 months left on her existing policy and she would like to carry the policy on to get the past years...
we asked, it was because it is an insurance group 5? (although i thought it was a 4 anyway?)
we are paying £65 a month atm for the VTR and to change it over to the DCI its gone up to £90 a month?
good afternoon.
me and the mrs have put a deposit down a nice little run about 1.5 DCI dynamique 65. yes, we have far too many cars but we are thinking of getting rid of some for a change.
my mrs will be using the DCI for work mainly and ill be driving it on the odd occasion. now we have had a...
a live map is pretty pointless on a near standard engine though, apart from the raised limiter. live maps are better but IMO on a near standard car the RS Tuner still wins. purely because its still £100 cheaper than a live map.
