Saw you yesterday!
I seem to be seeing you driving the other way quite a few times recently, and I know your a member on here from your numberplate, but I kept forgetting to put a post up here!
Your car looks awesome :), I can always instantly tell its you lol.
James
I went to the one at Brands hatch as well, the drifting and time attack were awesome I thought! oh and there were some nice cars lol, they weren't all chav wagons.
I've just got it in. I wired it to the Ground wire, got rid of the message it flashed up. However I haven't actually got any Ipod videos to work yet, just plays sound!
One thing it doesn't half sit out quite a way, makes it look massive, Im not sure if I like it.
I'll put up pics and stuff...
Oh right yea.
Its not actually a DVD headunit:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-mvh-8200bt.html
It can just play videos off an ipod on its small screen, I probably won't use it but just thought I'd sort it all the wiring out when I put it in rather than having to sort it out if I do ever...
I've just got a Pionner MVH 8200BT, and it allows you to watch Ipod videos.
I was just wondering, on the loom there is a wire your meant to wire to the handbrake, is there any way of bypassing this and making it work all the time?
Do you connect it to an earth point or positive feed or...
AhThankyou, :)
So its just the leads I need to stop it, I'll prolly just get new ones. not the spark plugs?
Also its idling at between 750 and 1000 revs is this normal?
I'm getting a clicking noise from one of my spark plugs/lead connector (I think) in my engine:
I don't know if you can hear, but you can see the one on the end I can turn the lead and it feels much looser than the rest and this is the one that's clicking. Is it meant to be like this, do I...
I've just bought this as well :). I got it from Car audio Direct though. We get free postage with the CS discount.
Although I think this is the cheapest place I found for UK sites:

ohh join up man!
PM latza or richybatt from that thread. they should be able to give you a review. For the price I think people were impressed.
And at the end of the day its only a non sport so doesn't matter as much how they handle under extremes etc!

Loads of feedback in there from when a group buy was organised.
I was having a look at a headunit for a customer at work today, he had an Alpine IDA X100 in a Citreon C2 and it was draining his battery when not using it.
I wipped it out and had a look, and someone had bridged the yellow and red wires together, so the headunit stayed on without the...
They're held on with plastic tabs/clips along the length.
The one on the door pulls towards the back of the car and pops off, the one on the rear quarter pulls towards the front of the car and pops off.
Yes the metal is indented behind them, with holes for the tabs.
Yea its easy mate. K & N have their own instructions too:

Edit: Or the newer model:

its cheaper from Halfords if your getting the one in the link!

Yea, I used Smooth Black. I got a tin of 500ml from Halfords, did both my front calipers and rear drums (Non sport) and I've still got nearly a full tin.
I'd say you'd be able to do them with the 250ml tin probably
Ktec do the exhaust mounts new, only know coz I remembered I saw them the other day when I was looking for something else.

Scrapyard?
I think they're a similar idea to silvervisions, except instead of just being silver coloured, they're actual white LED's normally, then turn to orange to indicate?
Just found this as well - looks pretty awesome:

They do a cheaper version without bluetooth too.
What kind of enclosure is it mate?
I'm thinking of ditching the sub idea now, and upgrading to some 6.5" components properly mounted and sound deadened.
Yea so the policy on my Clio is in my name, with my mum named.
Then my mum also has a policy in her name for her own separate car.
As we were insuring two cars on the 'multi car' policy we got a percentage off. Which dropped the price of both.
