Sister has a 106bhp Clio Mk3 DCi and I'm amazed at how well it pulls from low revs, but then looking at the stats for them it has 177ft/lb of torque vs 160ft/lb for my 182!!
I can't get over how much more solid it feels than my 182, admiditely she's got the top spec GT version, with all the...
Haven't updated this for a while, and got a few spare minutes so thought I'd give it a quick update now our internet is finally back,
Not much has happened to the car, all this s**t weather and living out in the countryside doesn't help, as the car gets filthy literally after 1 mile
Only...

Possibly a really stupid question here,
Fitting camber bolts on the front and putting some 10mm rear axle spacers on, and would like to get the car set up / geometry done
For winter I'm running my 182 Alloys, and I'm getting my Turinis refurbished which I'll put back on once winter has gone...
Got some Washer Blanks to fit to my 182 FF, which currently has Jet Washers for the Xenons
What's the best way to stop the fluid trying to come through
I've heard of people just using a threaded bolt, or another option is to disconnect a pump? The pump way sounds the best method to me
Does...
Giving my 182 a service and doing the following :
Engine Oil
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Spark Plugs
Also doing the Gearbox Oil, as I can't see it having been done already
What do I need in terms of washers/gaskets to replace the old ones?
As I understand it I'll need a new sump washer (which I've...
Looks like I'll order 10 litres or so to keep for the future services, always nice to have it ready so I'm more likely to actually do it!
I do about 12k miles a year, so if I change it 6k it only cost me £40 a year, and let's be honest it's a poor pity if I can't be bothered to pay £40 a year...
Cheers for the heads up!
And this is decent stuff?
Just thinking out loud here - I bet using this and changing the oil say twice over 12k miles is better than buying some premium oil at twice the price but not changing over the 12k?
Just thinking I might get a bit just to hold for future...
Loving both the original 182, 172 and of course the Supra!! All look fantastic
Do you have a progress thread for the Black 182? Wouldn't mind reading about some of the mods, and finding out what coilovers your one!
Cheers, James
Thanks! The wheels need a refurb, and I was originally thinking of going anthracite - however I'm leaning towards getting them done the same colour as they currently are
And those who have seen them in real life say they look better than in the photos, so that can't be a bad thing!
Cheers...
Only change worth noting is fitted a smaller plate on the front - went for 90mm as it feels the recess well, and hopefully less chance of being pulled for it
Couple of pictures I quickly took with my mate's twingo before the light started fade :

Bit of a thread bump, but didn't see the point in starting a new one
I've noticed the same in my Clio as the OP, especially when you hit the 'magical 5k kick'
The wheel almost seems to jerk left or right all of sudden for a split second, and give it a straighten up and it's all fine
Seems...
I did it on mine, fairly sure there's a photo in my progress thread
I did it all in one go, then attempted to smooth it down to make it look more appealing, wasn't the easiest as the bloody stuff just stuck to it lol
But at the end of the day who's gonna see it anyway!!
Looking at getting my Turinis refurbished and trying to decide between powdercoating and painting - every chance they will be a dark anthracite
Both have advantages/disadvantages
Powdercoating seems the most popular option, being more durable
Probably leaning that way if I can make sure...
Still undecided on wheel colour, gave the car a clean yesterday and the colour of the alloys really impressed me
Just looking at the photos of the alloys again that I put on, it shows them as being darker than they really are - they've definitely got a lighter tint to them, especially when in...
Still can't make my bloody mind up on wheel colour!! Narrowed it down to the current colour, anthracite or possibly bronze (although very unlikely)
Just looking at the photos of the alloys again that I put on, it shows them as being darker than they really are - they've definitely got a lighter...
Finally got a bit of good news!! Managed to pick up a set of cup offset Turinis on Sunday, got them at a bargain price but they do need a refurb (which I knew before hand)
I thought I might as fit them...and I've got to admit the colour is growing on me!! (I'll also admit that I've photoshopped...
Thanks all - I'm gonna have a think over the next couple of days and see what I think!
They look amazing @jesus!! Could I be really cheeky and ask what colour code/name they are?
Thanks all, seems like Gold isn't a popular option!
Picked up the Turinis today, got them at a bargain price but they do need a refurb (which I knew before hand)
I thought I might as fit them...and I've got to admit the colour is growing on me!! (I'll also admit that I've photoshopped some of...
Going to be getting some Turinis tomorrow, and fancy doing something a little different from the norm (silver/anthracite)
