hmmm not really it looks in really good nick, mileage isnt a big thing on 172s, as long as its been well maintained. as i said i paid 4600 for mine on 50k so if you can get him down a couple of hundred it'll be bob on
^ lol you returned from under the thumb then ;)
it was meant to be back on tuesday, then it was meant to be back today and now its meant to be back next week. bloody b******s!
I'll agree with the above^ makes the car feel so responsive better than the huge renault lump they give u as standard. Takes a while to get used to though.
whilst searching for a model i found the real thing! high mileage but looks in good nick and quite a reasonable price

totally agree with that, looks ok if you fit a cup/vee spoiler with the bumper but even then the rear just looks too deep for the rest of the car. Also been done to hell lol. Saying that cars that have had it done do look cracking, but for the expense relaly not worth it imo
Blue4ever, gorgeous car never actually seen pics before, got be well up there amongst the best :)
I know your not really after 172s (as you dont own one) but i miss mine so thought i'd post some pics :dapprove:
are they duttys old wheels? wont catch the inner gubbins may catch the arches though as they're only 7 inch, and et 30 means they stick out away from the arch. However, the design of the wheel may mean you wont get them over the discs. et of a ph1 172 is around a 40 iirc so you're aboyt 10mm out...
you need to touch up the shoddy paintwork on those badges ;) (joking)
stick with the coilovers for the time being as they will totally change the drive of the car, other than that, i'd consider some new wheels purely cos prima racing wheels weight half a tonne each lol
personally i'm...
lovely example. Get those sides colourcoded and bumper and your done. Dont bother with ph2 bits, its not a ph2 so dont make it look like one (thats my philosophy anyhow ;)) spend the money you save on keeping it mint, mecahnicly and aesthetically
shouldnt race anyone, as its means your acting like a bit of a prick lol.
tbh, its not about the speed its about the driver, so many variables cant really say for certiain. will stay up there with most hot hatches, be close with a CTR, standard golf gti etc should easily out pace a fezza st...
BLOOODY ADMIRAL! just found out i now wont be getting my car back until next week now, as they've 'forgot' to order the clips for the bumper, how convenient. So after having a rant about the safety of my courtesy car, at least they're replacing that. gone well beyond my limits of patience now
nice choice on the car and the colour! theres a meet at star city not a million miles away from you coming up, should be a big one so worth the travelling
its not been catagorised, as its been repaired not written off.
Thanks for the offer taylor, its at telford though so completly the wrong direction. Should be gettign it back tomorrow anyhow :)
its too far away to warrant going down, its literally about an hours drive if theres no traffic or i would have been there in a shot. To be honest i'm going to put in a formal complaint and am hoping to get a bit of money back of this due to paying 30 odd quid a week to drive a bloody corsa. On...
^ i would mate, and then send them a bill for petrol costs.
Apparently the car 100% has an alloy bonnet, as they got it second hand, i'll belive it when i see it.
thanks for the advice kunit, rest assured everthing shall be checked at least 4 times over lol
