Make sure youve got the right sockets, I didnt have an 18mm so doing it with a 18mm spanner (check the guides for correct size) and it slowed me down a lot.
Also doing it on my own would have been 10x harder, Having my grandad there to help a little bit was so much easier.
Its so you can use a ring spanner to undo whilst you hold a Allen key to stop the strut turning so much.
They are on tight, I've heard some need there's wizzed off by an air gun at a local garage.
Mine came off with WD40 a few nights before and just used a ratchet to get the nut off.
Interior looks like a nice place to be, Rear end looks great, Seats look nice...
But that front end does nothing for me at all, Just doesnt look mean enough imo...
Love the colour though, Maybe ill warm to them.

Will see if theres a bit more pressure at the edge of the curve, It cleans a semi circle unlike the one before which missed a massive part.. But lacks a 1cm pressure at the top of the curve. (pointless really but just...

You can use masking tape on the straights, Ive heard before you could use bluetac on the corners and a knife, Or again tape and a knife.
Mainly just paint and a thin artists brush, And time.
If you f**k it up... Wipe it off and start again.
Just got the PSU up and running, All working excellent, And the PSU is running pretty cool.
Very happy, Cheers for the help fellas.
What it was for ha:
Standard or FK Euro lights (do a search) imo... LED rears are hard to pull off i think.
The exhaust is welded to the hangers?
Lower, Colourcode, RS Grille, Silvervisions all round,
Drop the exhaust and get a trim around it (Ktec do a carbon one which is expensive but standards are hard to...
Yeah theyre lose as f**k on the 1.2s, Just thinking about it i might take it off...
My ECU covers been nicked either by the mechanic who last worked on my car or has falled off, Which i doubt it as i tightend it a while ago.
Not a fan of the tinted rears, Would look a lot better standard imo.
Lot of little jobs you could do on this and it would look much better i think...
Clear side indicators, Boarderless plates, Colour coding, Fogs (even just for show), Sort the recess out, Maybe drop the exhaust 5mm.. Looks too...
If you have any isopropyl alcohol clean the scratch first to get rid of any wax.. Or petrol or white sprit would work at a guess.
Then use a very fine brush and fill the scratch until its slightly bimming, leave it to cure, you might need to top up because the paint sinks when drying.. then...
A long time a go there was a thread on detailing world, The guy (think he had an elise) had his car keyed all over, He filled the scratches in and polished it and as far as i can remeber the final result was very good. (Im just referencing as this is what suprised me that you can touch up...
Ive filled in small scratches with a touch up pen, A few layers with a fine brush to fill the scratch, Then wet flat once dry and polish back up to standard.
If its a big scratch of a deep scuff i would spray, But a scratch i would repair using touch up paint and a very fine brush.
My new wiper solved this problem, But it misses a tiny bit, Will do a bit of sanding tomorrow.
So on the part at the end that can move freely to wipe the curve, You sanded the lip down a bit ?
^ Very nice finish, Anyone got any cheaper links for the 2K?
OP - Is it just a scratch? could it be filled with a touch up pen and corrected using machine.. Just an idea if the scratch is repairable without blowing in.
*Mask tyre up / use painting cards around the edge.
*Mix up filler and apply if filling curbing around the lip.
*Leave to dry then sand lip so its curb free.
*If original paint is still on sand down till its keyed enough for the paint and smoothed any curbing/ rough patches.
(Jobs a lot...
