On a 1.2 yes the high end tyres can be a bit of an over kill..
Im going for The Khumos i think, Have read a lot about TR1s being s**t in the wet.
With a non sport im not driving round a break neck speeds but i wouldnt like to be coming round corners in wets almost sliding out on budgets like i...
Read again, I have V12s on my non sport alloys, Im getting 172 alloys this week.. Re-furbing then need some 195 45 16 tyres to go on.
Id get some hankook v12s for the 172 tyres but havent looked hard enough.. havent found any yet.
Looks like a draw between the TR1's and the Khumos.
For some reason i always look at the tread pattern and on the khumos, It just looks a bit better to me.. Think i will give those a go..
Also open to any other suggestions?
Yeah thought about the TR1s
Not a bad price.. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m62b0s94p1671

Are these the proxies people call ditch finders in the wet? or am i thinking of another tyre...
I am running Hankook Evo V12s on my dynamique rears and budgets on my fronts.
Should be getting a set of 16" 172 alloys on the week, Planning on a refurb in Anthracite..
Anyway. 2 tyres are legal and have good tread and are going on the front.. I am looking for a good pair of tyres for the...
For a set its very high, But for joe blogs who wants to replace his buckled/f**ked wheel at £100 is alright imo..
Still a lot cheaper out there of course.
Good work mate cant really tell from pics but looks good.
Did mine myself, To a good standard, But planning on a re-do in summer with 2k lacquer instead of standard lacquer.
Can i suggest: clear side repeaters, losing the mud flaps, lowering, and personally losing the limo tint on the rear...
Undo the 1 or 2 torx screws, pull the flap vent thing out, Untwist the bulb holder, replace. Voila.
Helps if you jack up each side for easier hand access.
Take them off once in a while and clean them out at a guess,
Or use a very soft brush and when cleaning with soap use the brush to get in the tight spots!
Unscrew the light unit out, Pop the cluster out, Take the bulbs out, Clean the contacts.
Spray the contacts with wd40 and let it soak for a bit..
Put it all back, Take the carpet out from behind the light unit, Unscrew the bolt, Clean the earth. But i doubt it will need cleaning. Make sure...
+1 and the pic makes it look like there are buffer trails to me.
But im sure its just the pic with a bit of photoshop editing, Looks good to me otherwise.
Get a few quotes from body shops, They will melt a plastic (plastic weld) card behind the cut out, Fill it and spray it.
Havent got a clue about prices.
Very nice, Exhaust is sitting much better now.
Agree about the cup splitter.
Flash makes the arch gap look quite bad but bottom pic the ride height looks pretty perfect for me.
I like them on for what the car has had done to it etc..
But for a daily driver i think it would attract too much attention for me... However i would keep them on for a bit and decide yourself it you like it.
