+1 First pic it looks mint !
Then i saw the plate was off... Still looking good.
Bloody numberplate laws.
Plans sound nice, Look forward to seeing them on.
Personally i'd say:
Rear bumper to be prepped and painted: £150-220
Door handles: £40-90
Full respray including door shuts and engine bay: £2-4.5k
All imo, Just off what ive heard before, Actual quotes i and my mates have got before..
Everything can be done cheaper but can effect...
The CPU's heatsink/fank should come with some thermal grease already on the bottom, Just use that for now.. Then replace it with better later..
Or get some if you dont mind waiting for it to be delivered of course..
AS5 is good stuff though !
Id get a chain type filter remover. Used one before and it had the oil filter off perfect..
I have a material strap type one as spare but i doubt it will work well tbh !
I doubt its taken the lacquer off its just damaged the top layer of lacquer because its acidic as f**k.. If your lucky and it hasn't been on there that long some polish might remove the top layer of the stain and get it out.
Hand polishing i doubt you'd go through the lacquer without being at...
3000 grit sand paper or 2500 and ideally a machine polisher.. Or a bit of hand work polishing it back up..
Tcut or a decent cut polish may work without sanding so try that first.
Nice work, The gradual fade at the end of the RPM to red would be nice, Im sure thats what your trying to achieve.
None the less kudos for doing it it looks pretty decent as it is.
