Are the wheels ballanced?
I'd get the tracking done lsewhere I'#ve seem some big name garages mess up with setups before now even with all these computers oftena back street garage can do a better job with some cheap tools.
Diesel boxes are the strongest boxes realy bar the willaims one realy infact there a lot of diesel box parts used in the construction of the williams box sine it was the strongest of the range as such.
They would if it wear stronger design.

You need to mount them to somehting strong but regardless you need to mount them higher and better. Have a read here
Where harnesses should be located...
Renault sell the whole arms for £55 ish with new ball joint or try gsf etc for a £10 just a ball joint.
To replace about 1 hours labout but they can be a pain to do if there stuck solid.
