    Speed pulse. I know this has been covered but..

    Its used for the head unit to adjust the volume (if its acticvated etc) on the stereo ie the car goes faster the stereo get loader. On the back of the dabboard there a few connectors the black wire on the black connector block is the speedo signal.

    Thats good practice. Then again some dealership stuff is very good realy for the price its fit for the purpose they need.

    Yes but don't IMo get a Renault ofical or nothing there some realy usless aftermarket bits out there be safe and spend the extra few quid on a part designed and tested fit for purpose IMO.

    It does't have the Cup suspenion though the cup is the later car the R27 has the R27 suspension setup

    Motul is great oil not cheap but very good.

    If you think its been covered before why not search? Engine mounts are simple use the 1.1 night and day from memory wiring simple as its all simple electrics plus using a Mk1 you have the advantage of the cars wiring being simple. GDi did the transplant on Bruns car a few years back maybe...

    Near enough 200hp with cams, intake manifold rewrking remap etc. There a load of choice of cams though. Cams choice is down to prefercne and often who is fitting them as GDI use one type of cam yozzasport use another etc

    Grease it up I meant. Chnagine the clutch ins't to bad a job 1 hour tops more likly 40 mis or so. Use only a proper renault clutch cable if yor going to replace it there only cheap £15 or so.

    standard 1.2 discs, where to get them??

    259 mm always check but its only early phase 2 which randomly and usualy on lower spec 1.2 8V have the 239mm disks.

    You can brand spaners for £13k so asking £500 less for a user car? Ok so you have a few other bits but that means not much. Sounds quite reasonable buy somehting with a big profit margin and they'll give you more. Its all down to what else your buying etc.

    If you've done the 1.6 the 172 not much different. Its not bad practice the 72k/5 year rules were to lax IMO.

    Finding problem - grinding/rumbling/juddering

    Shake the shafts see if there any play in the up and down and forward and aft also check the gaiters arn't leaking. Engine want to be pulled forward as such. Yep that won't be helping why are you saving a few quid using the whole springs on the car and not using coilovers or the standard...

    I forget how that sensor works wheather its unpluged and things its hot or cold but regardless if the fan works when you disconnect it and the temp gauage in the car sworking there no issues the fan doens't always have to come on only if its hot.

    Cams

    1 aux belt. £12 I snapped cambelt along with valves Well cambelt alone £350 for fitment then a few valves head off so new head gasget etc. Easy to get over a £1k bill.

    Check the top mount isn't catching under the bonnet also check the PAS rack and pump.

    Yep springs at the back. I woulnd't recomend any spring if you do just want springs then Eisback or however you spell it.

    Check the switch its on the brake pedal check it on tight. A new ones only cheap from memory.

    You don't get much for the money. It is a cheap new race car though.

    Its expensive to chnage and good for 150k officaily.
