50 shot will take out the engine unless correctly setup. Its been done before
Its the rpm which is the killer of engines also you have to try control the det etc. there tricks they can do and run good fuel etc and water injection only way to be sure it to test it yourself I'd have stuck...
Best get it checked.
If you've used a cheap copy cat part the new bearing might be broken already loads of the copy cat parts are rubish and no better than the old worn ones which are chnaged for the new ones as such.
Use your ones properly and check there in good condition.
If your going to keep it ages get some 4 pots otherwise you cna use greenstuff or ds2500/300 pads but IMo there excissive realy.
How long are you brakes lasting? They should last ages.
Stock disks are fine but black dimon disk...
You should bleed the brakes yep.
Forget what you heard Halfords being bad there own copy cat pads are a bit rubish but there disks and there ferodo pads they sell are normal Renault stuff realy very good realy.
Define better you can find the stock setup much better lowering springs just...
About £50 each so that £200 for the set worth chnaging them all if you can but usualy the back ones are at fault,
Then say 45 minutes to fit them. labour rates depend where you go not difficult to chnage if you don't want to go to a place which charges a lot rate of labour.
You most likly have the 259mm vented ones Ive never seen one which doens't have them of that age.
Same disks as the Renault williams/ 1.8 16V use.
Halfords are £30 a side for them.
You should replace the pads at the same time as well there £17 FDB845 again from halfords.
Are you talking about your 182 conversion then or not as your on about sticking the running gear in one second then your back asking again about cut looms.
Still my answer still stands as it did when you asked the same question two weeks ago...
£250 for a strip down and rebuilt then theres whatever bust ontop of that they cna often help use a better circlip though etc when they put it together.
Then you should replace the clitch so that £80 then say £40 worth of fluid.
Fitment and removal is about 8 hours not included in the...
You can buy the rear without rings and bearings but you then realy need to stick new bearing in them as its a waste IMO reusing the bearings as they will fail. So often best getting a complete set all pressed together new rings etc.
I woulnd'tn't bother with those brakes depending how you...
£200 to £25 depends where you go and if you do the waterpump as well (£50 or so extra)
The belts kits with new tensioners which should be replaced is £70 or so anyway. Plus its a few hours work so depend on the labour rate and if they have the right tools.
7 hours or so to do depend how handy you are and what tools you have ie a 4 post lift helps.
New clutch is only cheap at Renault change the cable for a proper Renault one at the same time.
I know a local garage which would do it for a good price but its 65 miles from you and they don't do...
Its dead easy undo the car at the back of the gearbox theres the dogbone mont do a search fo a picture but it looks like it sounds but since you'll have a new one you'll know what it looks like.
No point with fancy bolts just locking thread on it.
Expensive coilovers are well worthwhile but IMo most people cannot use the stock setup well so IMO learn to use the stock setup first if your after them to make the car quicker as such.
The cable is £65 or so its not cheap.
The cable is router down the side of the car and under the top of the dasboard to the back of the stereo officaily but you cna run it round the side of the center consol if you want.
It will fit fine though.
